Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and ensures that department associates comply with all requirements.

Conducts end-of-day checks on all pieces of machinery to ensure they are shut off, and ensures that all doors are secured.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.

Cleans and prepares trough by removing foreign material and coats and maintains trough and trough chute making refractory repairs to trough and chute as required.

Review daily staffing requirements to ensure productivity goals are maintained. Perform problem solving activities to eliminate waste and increase efficiency.
Track team member morale and discuss potential opportunities with team.

Participate in interview and selection process of new team members.
