Use Hilo and/or pallet jack to stage, load, and unload products on pallets.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
If required to deliver and pick up products as needed, an ability to obtain properly enhanced DOT Drivers License or Chauffeurs License. This is at no cost to the employee.

Basic Function
Performs general labor as assigned.
If demolding:
Removes finished foam seating pads from their molds, places parts on a conveyer for the next stage of the finishing process and
removes any obvious foam particles from the molds.
If waxing:
Removes any obvious foam particles from molds and applies a thin layer of demolding agent (aerosol wax) to the surface of the molds.
If placing inserts:
Places clips, felts, wires and other required inserts inside of mold

Trimming:
1. Removes all ribbon vents and uncontrolled flash on parting line that is greater than 25mm using hands.
2. Inspects parts for the following defects.
a. Flash not trimmed off.
b. Hard spots on the parting line.
c. Under fills
d. Foam free areas
3. Safety glove must be worn on both hands.
4. Inform supervisor of B-surface defects.

Repairing:
1. Look for voids marked by Inspector.
2. Use a buffer to repair.
3. If voids are small, stuff the void with repair foam, then cut it back to contour of part.
4. Inform supervisor of any insert shortages
Packing:
1. Remove parts off the conveyor belt.
a. Identify part, place it in its respective bin
2. Pack the parts in their respective order. The pack description is posted on the floor where the bins go.
a. Pack description includes the part orientation
b. Pack description includes the quantity
c. Pack description includes the part number and the vehicle
3. Verify that the standard pack is met.
a. Verify the correct quantity is in the bin
b. Verify that the pack orientation is correct
c. Make sure that all parts are inside of the bin. Parts that hang out of the bin may get ripped.
4. Notify production supervisor if out of balance on parts.
5. As backup to material clerk, prepare and attach product labels.
Mold Cleaning:
1. Clean the bowl of the tool.
a. Clean all ribbon vents of any foam
b. Clean any areas that have foam stuck to them
c. Apply paste wax to any areas scrubbed with a chore boy or had stuck foam
2. Clean all wire holders of foam.
a. Apply paste wax to wire holders that have stuck foam
3. Vent Identification
a. Ribbon Vent
4. Verify the bowl is clean.
a. Inspect the ribbon vents to ensure they are free of flash

Summary

The primary role of the Machine Operator is to manufacture quality products in a safe manner.
Responsible for assembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or a conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools.
The Role:
* Set up and operate machines
* Load/unload machine (may be assisted by automation or ergo aids).
* Relief of fellow operators
* Operate manual material handling equipment to re-stock production areas with raw material or purchased parts.
* Move wheeled carts, racks, bins containing work in progress to adjacent production areas
* Inspect product quality
* Cleaning surrounding work areas
* May be assigned different duties depending on plant needs.
Required Skills:
* Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
* Ability to frequently bend, reach or twist.
* Ability to frequently lift, transfer at waist height 30lbs
* Ability to stand and/or walk long periods of time.
* Must pass a drug and alcohol screen (including marijuana).

Key Responsibilities
Production Coordinator: Oversee the daily operations of the reconditioning department, including mechanical repairs, detailing, and quality control, to ensure timely turnaround times (cycle time).
Workflow Coordination: Assign daily work to technicians, detailers, and lot staff, monitoring progress and addressing issues or delays as they arise.
Inventory Coordinator: Manage and track all used vehicle inventory, coordinate vehicle inspections, and ensure accurate record-keeping within the dealership's management system.
Software Coordinator: Utilize Rapid Recon and Dealership Management System effectively to manage repairs, process repair orders, and track related documentation and costs related to the used car inventory.
Quality Control: Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs to ensure adherence to company standards and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Sales, Body shop, Detail and Parts Departments to prioritize workflow, order necessary parts, and ensure vehicles are front-line ready for the sales lot.
Reporting: Prepare reports for upper management on production status, profitability, and key performance indicators.
Qualifications
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in computer systems and software. Dealership management systems (DMS).
Specific experience with Rapid Recon or similar inventory/service tracking software is recommended.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Summary
The Production Supervisor is a member of the plant leadership team and is responsible for delivering operational targets, leading a team, and plays a key role in driving teams to deliver business results. Ensure the ongoing production of safe and defect free products consistent with the principles of Sara Lee Frozen Bakery
Manage associate relations issues and guide and direct the hiring, training, retraining, development and motivation of Operations associates
Utilize the technical resources on shift for the preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of process/packaging equipment problems, with the objective of effectively using these resources to achieve desired performance levels
Proactively identify risks and opportunities as well as reactively lead on-shift incident resolution when operators require additional support. Prioritize, assign resources against escalated issues, and make decisions to resolve escalated issues
Participate in the implementation of improvement strategies that will help the line/area perform more effectively
Responsible for partnering with Talent Acquisition to recruit and select associates for operations roles, and responsible to onboard associates effectively
