Shift 1 (United States of America) Rotex is looking for a Manufacturing Team Members to join our team on first and second shift in Evendale.First shift hours Monday through Friday, 6:00am- 2:30pm, with frequent mandatory overtime extending those hours from 5:00am-3:30pm plus most Saturdays.
Our manufacturing facility custom builds industrial separation equipment for a wide variety of industries globally. Most of our jobs require working with hand and power tools, and depending upon role, responsibilities may include building metal screening structures, building custom wooden crating, and assembly of equipment in various stages.
What You'll Do:
Prep shipments going to main facility and loading the truck.
Unloading trucks and verifying the quantities received match the packing list.
Gathering materials required to manufacture assemblies.
Deliver to designated areas in the plant in accordance with established procedures and instructions.
Periodically inventory various material, maintain floor stock levels, and store items as instructed.

Job Summary
The Compression Operator reports to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for learning and performing various pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques including dispensing, blending and granulation, compression, encapsulation, and coating.Cross-training is provided, as needed, upon the mastering of each technique.The Operator is expected to complete all tasks by adhering to GMP and Safety guidelines at all times, including following proper documentation and gowning procedures.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
** Duties listed below may include one or several of the manufacturing techniques (i.e. dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, encapsulation, coating etc.) depending on knowledge and experience level**
•Cleaning of product rooms and equipment such as mills, mixers, ovens, granulators etc.
•Set up the dispensing room as per SOP's, and as per specifications in Batch Manufacturing Record.
•Document all setup and cleaning in the logbook and other pertinent paperwork.
•Dispense raw material from the warehouse as per SOP and Production Batch Record; Check information on approved raw material/packaging material as per Batch Manufacturing Record.
•Issue the raw material as per Batch Manufacturing Record and record the issuance information in Production Batch Record, inventory card and other pertinent paperwork.
•Check expiry and retest date of all material before dispensing.
•Operation of granulation equipment
•Operate all Coating equipment i.e., Coating Pans (Accela Cota, Compulab) dust collector
•Compress/Encapsulate product as specified in the batch Manufacturing Records.
•Operate all Encapsulation equipment
•Clean all equipment in the Encapsulation and Tablet Compression department
•Operate all tablet compression equipment i.e. Kilian S520, Syntheses 500, tablet presses, drum lifters, deduster, metal detectors, scales, micrometers, hardness testers, printers, and inspection machines
•Assure the Department and work areas are kept clean and orderly. Clean equipment as specified by SOPs and Department Supervisor.
•Constantly observe and practice all cGMP policies and procedures in all work performed.
•Observe and adhere to Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Polices in all work performed. Adhere to work schedule, and perform other duties as assigned.
•Must participate and successfully complete all training as required by the company.
•Ability to wear respiratory protection (medical clearance required).
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
•High School diploma or equivalent GED.
•Minimum 5+ years' experience in a GMP environment, preferably in Oral Solid Dose manufacturing or working in a similar capacity
•Sufficient computer skills as well as communications, both oral and written
•Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
•Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or employees of the company.
•Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
•Ability to use a computer for completing training and interfacing with mechanical systems and/or control systems.

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Essential Functions

* Mixing: Operates Small Ingredient Silo's, Large Ingredient Silo's, Mixer, Mill, Extruder, Brick Picker, Check weigher, Metal Detector, Palletizer machines, and axillary equipment to support the mixing operation in accordance with SOP's and WI's to produce bricks in accordance to productivity standards. Operators will also be trained on SAP and MII functions to support productivity standards.
* Moulding & Trimming: Operates manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines in accordance with SOP's and WI's to produce moulded sheets of varied products from preform rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Preforms Pre-control on rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards.
* Washing & Coating: Operates washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support the washing and coating process including in process checks in accordance with SOP's and WI's to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards.
* Cleanroom: Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes including SAP interactions in accordance with SOP's and WI's to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards.
