Collect parts, inspect, separate and package as required per requirements. Separate and document known defective parts on required forms. Inform Supervisor or Technician when defects exceed allowable amounts. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: · Follow all safety rules and guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions or practices. · Maintain a clean work area through-out the shift. · Report to assigned machine on time. Always take breaks & lunch at appropriate times as instructed returning to work area promptly. · Work with shift production leads as required. · At start of shift read, understand, and ask questions regarding training to work instructions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES · Load materials and products into package processing equipment. · Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items. · Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels. · Reporting machine faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff. · Press switches and turn knobs to start machines to package products. · Making minor adjustments to machine settings to handle changes from one type of product or container to another. · Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or undesirable tastes to supervisors. · Monitor lot numbers, expiration dates and/or manufacturing dates for each product. · Mark and label food products, using marking tools. · Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. · Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. · Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. · Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas. · Seal materials, using a case sealing machine and hand tools. · Clean materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. · Move completed boxes from conveyor line and assemble a pallet of product. · Lift finished products, and packed items manually. · Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. This is for our 2nd shift, starting at 2pm in the afternoon from Monday thru Friday (will require Weekends if needed)

BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION: Assist in the set-up, run, and monitor any one of the machines used for the production of filament winding vessels. Ensures quality product is being produced in a timely fashion. 1. Performs activities in the production of filament wound pressure vessels which may include assisting in the set-up winding, oven load, extraction, cutting, sanding, prep, milling, port install, troubleshoot, repair (as required), hydro-test, paint prep, paint and packaging. 2. Performs and ensures quality inspections of raw material and wound vessels. 3. Prepares and ensures production and department documents such as roll tickets, run log, maintenance log, utilization sheets, and sample work-up sheets are complete and accurate. 4. Follows Production Manager's instructions, housekeeping policies, and standard operating procedures, written, oral, or diagram form that aid in the manufacturing of filament wound pressure vessels. 5. Acts in a safe manner at all times. Follows all company policies and procedures as they relate to safety reporting. Reports all safety incidents or hazards immediately upon occurrence. JOB SUMMARY Under direct supervision, performs machine operator tasks as setting-up or shutting-down machines, prepares material for production loading and unloading on to machine or production equipment; maintains required level of output; monitors output by completing detailed quality inspections to ensure product meets customer requirements. Keeps accurate records and logs associated with production, measuring, quality, quantity and any other necessary record-keeping activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES: Finishing Operator: 1. Confirms product does not exceed outer diameter dimensional requirements. 2. Verifies trim measurements using calibrated tools such as ring gauges, trim gauges, etc 3. Places seal carriers at both ends of the element using calibrated tools such as ring gauges, core tube extension gauges, etc. 4. Performs product inspections using air lines, leaf adhesives and visual spot-checking for bubbles on product; makes necessary repairs. Rolling Operator: 1. Operates element rolling table to assemble components into a spiral configuration, changing membrane leaf adhesive drums as required. 2. Ensures all glue lines, side and end seals are applied during manufacturing process. 3. Some positions may verify glue ratio, including proper placing, accuracy, consistency and diameter of glue lines in accordance to Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures. Trim Operator: 1. Verifies gauges have current calibrated sticker prior to using hand tool to prevent damage to product. 2. Supports plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for the receipt of drums as they are dispersed from the production machines. Employees in this role will receive a plastic drum weighing up to 20 lbs with their arms and upper body and transfer it to a worktable placed across from the production machine. Employees will then utilize a knife/blade and hammer to remove excess plastic from top and bottom of container. Employee must be able to properly and safely maneuver the drum as it is received, turned on its sides, picked up and transferred to a pallet. Drums can measure 3.5 feet in length and require upper body mobility to receive, transfer, turn, and stack containers safely and without injury. The employee is responsible for correctly following standards of quality and specifications in the machine. Needs to follow SOP to properly, safely and accurately follow all steps from when the container is dispersed until it is palletized. Assists operators, to perform duties necessary to cast aluminum billet, sheet ingot or secondary aluminum ingot production. Also performs general production duties throughout the plant as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the direct chill casting of aluminum billet and slab ingot according to instructions. Using hand held tool(s) skims impurities from molten metal molds, furnace runners and boxes. Using cranes moves material or finished goods from casting pits to designated location. Assists in maintenance/cleaning of bag house, and associated equipment as needed. Assists in preparations for casting metal by preparing tools, coating molds, and runners. Hauls materials from storage or production areas to furnace production areas as required. Assist in skimming the molten metal pump. Assist in weighing alloying elements to be added to the furnace. Move materials from one location to another including un-piling-piling, un-stacking-stacking and strapping as required. Transports materials to scales, and weighs, tags, and records transports. Prepares finished metal or other material for shipment as required or directed. Keeps area and equipment clean, and in proper working order. Performs other duties as assigned by Management. Assist the mold shop by preparing molds. As a Production Worker, your primary role is to handle the finished product. This position is responsible to inspect, measure, and prepare for shipment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: Prep Units with dunnage, according to customer specifications so that the units will not be damaged by banding. Must be able to read the dry end schedule. Make sure all products being produced is of acceptable quality standards with a goal of 100% perfection. Check, monitor and enforce all quality standards including proper unitization and tagging procedures. Operate all Sheet line controls. Make sure machine and work areas are clean. Before the start of the shift inspect sheet line area for cleanliness and proper stocking and report findings to the current control room operator. Must also make sure areas are clean and properly supplied at shift changeover to ensure the success of the oncoming shift. Keep the dunnage area clean, neat and stocked. Respond to the bander when there are issues. Make sure quality checks are being properly performed through the shift. Work with Shipping to correct all issues in the rework area in a timely manner and ensure that no rework issues carry over into the following shift. Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned. Inform Control Room Operator of Overrun, Underrun or scrapped sheets/units. When the machine stops because of a Dry End issue, should make sure that the line is clear so that the machine can start up after issue has been corrected. Provide on the job training as needed for new employees. The Dry End will always work as a team. Operators are expected to help each other out when issues arise. Regular and predictable attendance; Attendance must be exemplary at all times. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Must be at least 18 years of age. PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: GED or high school diploma. Corrugated experience. REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.): Good communication skills. Basic math skills and must be able to read a tape measure. Must have computer skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Constant standing, talking, hearing, and walking. Frequent stooping and bending, twisting, turning, maintaining balance.
