Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during night shift operations to ensure timely achievement of production goals
Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and on-the-job training to develop team capabilities
Ensure strict compliance with GMPs, food safety regulations, allergen controls, and HACCP standards specific to ingredient handling and preparation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that supports the production of safe, high-quality confectionery products
Implement and monitor kitchen production schedules to meet demand while optimizing labor efficiency
Conduct quality checks on ingredient preparation to prevent production disruptions and ensure product consistency
Address operational issues promptly and escalate concerns to senior management as needed
Collaborate with other teams across Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to optimize workflows and resolve challenges
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently across the team
Maintain accurate shift records including attendance, production logs, safety incidents, and quality documentation
Participate in facility inspections and ensure kitchen areas meet all third-party audit requirements
Systematically evaluate departmental processes, staffing, equipment utilization, and work practices to identify constraints, waste, and performance gaps
Lead continuous improvement initiatives by setting measurable targets, engaging employees in problem-solving, and sustaining gains through standard work, follow-up, and accountability.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in kitchen operations
Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, allergen management, and food safety regulations
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop hourly team members
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing production needs
Must be able to work night shift hours including overtime as required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Forklift certification helpful but not required
Must pass a post-offer physical, drug screen, and background check

The Production Operator performs a variety of assembling, molding, trimming, gluing, inspecting and packaging of products based on assigned area.
Responsibilities:
Maintain all process documentation in a timely and accurate manner, and perform all pre-start checklists, glue weights, tallies, and other job related audits and system checks.

JOB PURPOSE:
This position efficiently operates assigned equipment to produce products at prescribed standards; minimize material waste and product loss. The position also oversees all aspects of line function. The range of Operator roles varies between categories and technologies, but generally sits within the Filling, Mixer, Packing, Reporting, Shaping and Water Machinery Job Families.
The Machine Operator provides support to the production area to meet Quality, Safety, and Productivity goals. The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of production equipment to deliver customer requirements through completion of the production plan, adhering to quality standards and maximizing cost effectiveness, optimal running, and equipment efficiency.
The Covington Magnum Ice Cream factory is a 24/7 high paced dynamic work environment. We achieve goals through collaborative cross functional teams in the safe and quality delivery of finished goods across the shift they are leading. Making brands such as Klondike, Popsicle, Breyers, and Good Humor ice cream.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Active member of a production team (Space Saver, Klondike, Gram) and supports the team culture of the Covington Plant through participation and leadership in LEAN PROCESS- Total Productive Maintenance (TMP).
Production Line set up including auxiliary equipment. Assemble necessary ingredients, clean and sanitize production area, and set and maintain machine to formula specifications.
Responsible for Clean in Place/Clean out of Place (CIP/COP) functions to maintain a sanitary work environment
Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality procedures, including all Statistical Process Control (SPC) functions. Follow established procedures for monitoring product specifications such as product weight, product size, machine output, wrap, code dates, product quality etc. Keep areas clean, organized and dry.
Responsible for the integrity of handling and labeling floor Rework
Monitor equipment for abnormalities, solving minor problems without assistance and eliminating potential threats to production. Communicate effectively with Team members, including maintenance personnel regarding recurring problems and needs for repair. Take part in PM's and all AM activities. Follow lubrication programs and maintain lube log.
Oversee all operations at workstations, including personnel assigned to your workstation.
Plays an active role in TPM including, the creation and updating of production documentation, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Will create and maintain TPM standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in Kaizen events.
Function as needed in various capacities, including moving supplies and discard, filling in for other teammates as necessary and other duties as assigned.

About the Position
The Machine Operator will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating specialized machinery used in the production of Pad-mounted, Pole-mounted, and Three-Phase transformers. This hands-on role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities
What you will do
Machine Operators at ERMCO set up, run, and troubleshoot machines used to make transformers. They follow clear instructions and safety rules to keep operations smooth and safe. The job involves handling heavy metal parts-often over 50 pounds-using tools or lifting equipment. Operators use hand and power tools like drills and wrenches and measuring tools like tape measures and calipers to ensure parts are made correctly. They inspect products for quality, keep their work area clean, and wear protective gear like safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Most importantly, they work as a team and stay focused on safety and improving how things are done.

Operate equipment used to make different types of transformers.
Start, run, change tools, and shut down machines safely.
Lift and move heavy metal parts (over 50 lbs) by hand or with lifting tools.

Measure parts accurately with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
