THRIFT STORE FLOOR PRODUCTION WORKER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Cleans, tags, and packs merchandise for pricing. Determines which items are perishable and which are recyclable and discards unsellable items. Assists other departments/positions, as needed. Sets the pace for sorting. Records production numbers daily. (i.e., carts, units, etc.) Communicates regularly with management about store issues. Actively engages customers on floor sales to increase donations and merchandise sales. Ensures monthly revenue goals are met. Provides excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers and donors; and responds to customer inquiries/complaints in a timely manner. Ensures store and displays are maintained, clean, and attractive. Maintains safety including all Health and Security policies and procedures. Requirements: THRIFT STORE FLOOR PRODUCTION WORKER EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION/LICENSURES/CERTIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, required. Thrift store, retail store, warehouse, assembly line or restaurant experience, a plus. THRIFT STORE FLOOR PRODUCTION WORKER KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES: Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written, a plus. Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic. Perform in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills. Ability to determine the value of donations. Must exhibit strong customer service skills. Clear communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent time management skills and detail oriented. Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment. Must be an effective team member. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
