Perricone Farms is seeking Seasonal Production Technician 1 to join our production team. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking for hands-on seasonal work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a Production Technician 1, you will rotate through key production areas, including fruit grading, drumming/filling, blending, and sanitation. Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate depending on the shift Shift / Hours: 3rdShift; Monday - Friday @11:00am to 7:30am, possible Saturday (If needed)) Seasonal: November to January, with a possibility to come back in Summer Key Responsibilities: As Production Technician 1, you will perform a variety of essential production tasks including: Filling and emptying 55-gallon drums Grading and sorting fruit according to quality standards Assembling, packing, and stacking product boxes Wrapping pallets for shipment Operating and monitoring production machinery Assisting in blending operations Labeling products accurately Setting up the production line with materials and supplies Maintaining clean and sanitary work areas Logging daily production activities Monitoring equipment and reporting issues to the supervisor Drug Free Workplace & Safety Expectations: Adhere to all company policies and standard operating procedures Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Notify supervisors of any irregularities or equipment concerns Comply with all OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF requirements Support ongoing efforts in food safety, quality assurance, and non-GMO compliance Participate in audits and the annual review of the Food Safety Management System Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Shift Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1-3 months of related experience in a production or manufacturing setting preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexibility to rotate between various production roles Work Environment: Exposure to moving machinery, wet/humid conditions, and variable temperatures; May be exposed to chemicals, airborne particles, and loud noise levels; Protective gear and safety protocols are required Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands; Frequently required to climb, bend, or crouch; Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequently; Visual requirements include close, peripheral, and color vision, with depth perception
