In this role, you will be responsible for the critical process of surface cleaning cast aluminum parts for inspection. It involves using compressed air to propel abrasive material at a surface under high pressure (60 psi) in an enclosed cabinet. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Utilize high-pressure compressed air to clean cast parts to prepare for inspection. Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and efficient operation of tools and equipment. Inspect parts for defects or irregularities. Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage workload to meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities in parts. Physical strength and endurance to lift and handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds routinely. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to follow both written and verbal directions. Manual dexterity and good eye coordination is necessary.
