Dynetics production control analyst job description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Production Control Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, aerospace, cyber, space and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

This position will be on a functional team that will partner with the production control and fulfillment teams at each manufacturing site responsible for driving functional excellence and consistency in support of multiple programs and products. This leader will support continuous improvement initiatives including MES integration with Costpoint and Supply Chain interfaces to successfully deliver high quality products on schedule while improving material visibility and streamlining processes.

This leader will help drive the identification of preferred/best practices across Dynetics operating sites and will follow through with standardization and documentation of production control and fulfillment functional processes.

This position will partner with product divisions, departments, and business functions to ensure production schedules and supply and demand requirements are aligned. This leader will coordinate with the manufacturing sites on process requirements, perform gap analysis and implement solutions to address any gaps.
Key responsibilities will include the following:

* Partner with site teams to ensure ability to meet key customer requirements with optimized processes for efficient creation and distribution of production build schedules, Manufacturing Order release and Fulfillment process, Master Production Schedule process, critical shortage tracking, configuration management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and proper ECO implementation including revision control and Make/Buy decision.
* Support coordination activities among cross-functional teams at operating sites including Production Control, Production, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Design Engineering, and Program Management.
* Developing processes for monitoring and reporting Production capacity, Purchasing activities, and critical shortages.
* Support the implementation and integration of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) into business processes for Production Control & Fulfillment in parallel with continued production.
* Support the development and implementation of production control and fulfillment tools and metrics
* Support establishing business rhythm elements associated with production control and fulfillment functional support to ensure contractual obligations are met

The candidate selected for this position will be on a diverse team that will support the execution of multiple simultaneous and diverse manufacturing production control activities. This will be a dynamic environment and a high growth area.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Candidate must have experience in leadership of manufacturing production control and fulfillment management for Defense, Aerospace, Space or Commercial projects with an understanding of material scheduling and ECO revision control for such projects.

Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience working production control in manufacturing programs.

Familiarity with various product life cycles including prototyping, design, and development, and full release to production.

Technical experience in at least one of the following manufacturing support areas is a must: Production Control, Material Planning, Engineering Change Control or Master Production Scheduling.

Experience across various ERP systems to include MRP, MPS, and MES using Deltek, Costpoint, SAP or similar tool.

Candidate must have personnel management or organizational leadership experience, including interviewing, assessing, and hiring new personnel.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

* Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or other similar accounting software
* Experience with implementing Enterprise MES or a similar manufacturing system project of high complexity
* Experience with Solumina a plus
* Experience with AS9100, IPC, and DCMA standards
* Demonstrated expertise in Lean principles, including Visual and Daily Management to drive operational efficiency

Raytheon Missiles & Defense Andover has an opening for a Material Planning and Production Control Scheduling Analyst.

The successful candidate has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting.

This role requires successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include: planning, production control, operations, quality, and manufacturing/test/design engineering, Manufacturing/Test/Design Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance, and Maintenance Operations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

* Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting
* Manages Kit Readiness including working with cross-functional team in BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control

* Coordinates kitting process with multiple stores and consolidation areas

* Controls the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material including Return to Vendor, Purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub-assemblies as required
* Maintains integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics
* Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources, and other Raytheon Technologies facilities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

* Typically requires University Degree and 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, and /or project management or an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience or in the absence of the degree, 7 years of experience is required.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
