Summary
The Multimedia Material & PC Manager is responsible for parts and production planning support to all areas of the Multimedia Plant and providing leadership and guidance to the Team Members.

Constantly monitor FCA and MMX productivity and shipping screens, as well as the Mobis shipping system Monitor and control parts warehouse including external one to ensure inventory accuracy between Mobis and the customers. Coordinate overall shipping and transportation activities between customers and Mobis Support overall manufacturing needs (i.e.- Production, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing) Gather customers’ daily, weekly, and monthly plan; generate and send Mobis’ daily production and shipping plans to appropriate departments Monitor daily production in real time to ensure that targets are met Review excess inventory sheet to determine which units will be sent to customers and enter data regarding excess into MES production system Track external and internal downtime requests and provide countermeasures to prevent future downtime Issue claims for vendor downtime and complete accounting documents to ensure payments are debited Track and manage Overage, Shortage, & Damaged (OS&D) database and provide relevant information to Sales Department in order to collect payment from customers. Track, process, and manage invoices for transportation services, and ensure that payment is being made in a timely manner Comply with and promote safety in the workplace All other duties as assigned

Who is MOBIS Alabama?

Established in 2002 and operating on nearly 83 acres in Montgomery, Alabama, MOBIS Alabama, LLC is the largest Tier 1 supplier to both Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) and KIA Motor Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG). Our process begins in the sprawling 600,000 square-foot Plastics plant where we use injection molding to produce front and rear bumpers, instrument panel frames, and after-service parts. Our bumpers are molded and painted in-house. Bumpers for HMMA are also assembled in-house before transfer to HMMA for final assembly, while bumpers for KMMG are sent to our sister plant in Georgia for assembly. After molding, instrument panel frames move to the Module plant next door where we prepare them to receive additional parts to form a complete Cockpit (dashboard) assembly. Also in the Module building are our front and rear Chassis (vehicle suspension) assembly lines. Here, parts from Tier 2 and 3 suppliers are assembled into completed Chassis modules which are transported to nearby HMMA for final vehicle assembly.

Our Redistribution Center (RDC) supplies genuine Hyundai and KIA after-service parts to dealerships, auto parts stores, and other parts distribution centers. Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Operations team as Manager, Material Flow, Production Planning & Control in Clarion, IA. This position is responsible for managing the material flow and movement strategy to support variable build levels in alignment with company processes. This position is also responsible for developing and executing plans for managing inventory, supporting new product development initiatives, and coordinating with Supply Management, Order Fulfillment and Manufacturing Engineering functional areas to improve asset utilization, capacity planning, material availability and internal material logistics. The scope of this role includes complete goods, service parts, and inter-factory products and processes. Manages, develops, plans, and directs all scheduling activities for the GD-OTS (Anniston) manufacturing facility producing precision metal parts and assemblies for the aerospace defense industry in a job shop environment by performing the following duties.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Develops and coordinates master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and/or customer orders.

+ Plans and schedules workflow for each production department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

+ Confers with individual department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.

+ Works with production, program, engineering and supply chain teams to ensure materials are available as scheduled.

+ Publishes production status reports depicting variance of actual performance to plan performance.

DIMENSIONS:

This position has supervisory responsibilities for the Production Planners and Expeditors including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Training, Years Experience, Special Skills or Limitations)

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field from an accredited college or university, Master's degree preferred; and 10+ years related experience and/or training in a production manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with the following processes is a plus: CNC Milling, Turning, Wire EDM, Welding, Blasting, Painting & Assembly. CPIM or EPS certification preferred. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Windows environment, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project software, and advanced ERP applications. IFS preferred. Must have excellent communication skills.
