PAY RATE: $17.00HR
BILL RATE: $24.80HR
1ST SHIFT 7AM-3PM (M-F) SCHEDULE TO GET ORIENTATED TO THE PLANT AND THEN WILL BE TRANSITIONED TO A 12 HOUR SCHEDULE

NO INTERVIEWS REQUIRED

We are a 12 hour shift operation and the first two weeks are to evaluate fit and transition to the 12 hour schedule. All these positions can be temp to perm which would require the individual to move on to the 12 hour schedule.

Updating details around the 12 hour schedule:
The schedule is a 2/2/3 rotating schedule on over weekend. 36 and 48 hour work weeks.

Responsible for aiding in the production of materials in the bindery area by packing, labeling and finishing product at the binding stage, helping load machine pockets, keeping bindery machines running by off-loading product and helping out on other bindery equipment.

• Able to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, job tickets, and procedure manuals

• 1st shift: 7 AM-7 PM, M - Th schedule
• 3rd shift: 11 PM-7 AM five days; 7 PM-7 AM rotating days schedule
• Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week and on Sundays

• Assists Extruder Operators in extruding thermoplastic and other materials.
  Tapes ends of extruded articles onto reel spindles and starts machines that wind material onto revolving spindles.
  Measures extruded articles with measuring wheels and cuts to specified lengths.
  Removes rolls or coils from spindles.
  Feeds scrap materials into mill to grind for reprocessing.
  May mix thermoplastic materials and pigments according to formula for extrusion feeding machines.
  May load materials into hopper.
  Transports roll stock.
  Records sample size, weight, carton numbers and specific instructions.
  Pack completed product after it has been inspected.
  Performs routine housekeeping functions on machine and in work area. Promotes worker safety, ensures quality products and actively participates in the continuous improvement process Performs other duties that may be assigned.

• High School graduate, GED certification required.
  Prior experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferred.
  Basic computer skills and proven ability to understand basic math concepts to include with measurement, volume, and distance.
  Ability to lift and carry 10 to 50 pounds.
  Must be able to follow instructions provided in written, oral and diagram form.
