This Outpatient Physical Therapy Supervisor @ our South Reno location is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. In conjunction with the director, is responsible for directing the staff for the hospital's outpatient therapy department. Oversees a wide variety of administrative, personnel, fiscal, and technical activities. Assures that the department will meet or exceed the TJC requirements and be maintained in a cost effective manner.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides a comprehensive department orientation to all new P.T. staff and manages required training to all staff on an ongoing basis. Maintains documentation of staff competence levels.
Demonstrates role model attributes and ability to develop the skills and knowledge of others. Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments in the hospital.
Works with the director to develop and implement departmental performance improvement activities and assures ongoing staff participation.

The Casting Plant Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of the casting department. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire casting operation-from workforce leadership and production planning to quality assurance and inventory control. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Casting Plant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Leadership Champion and continuously improve a strong safety culture across the casting operation. Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements; provide corrective actions and retraining when necessary. Lead and conduct regular safety training, audits, and toolbox talks.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision Directly supervise casting personnel in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervise and coordinate activities of employees within the Production Department. Monitor and supervise the department to ensure the established standards are met safe work and GMP practices are followed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Production Department for the assigned shift.
Explain, demonstrate, train and cross-train; SSOP's, GMP's and Safe Work Practices to department staff.
Enforce SOP's, GMP's and Safe Work Practices
Schedule staffing to perform production duties and meet efficiency goals (labor cost per pound).
Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure lines operate correctly and quality standards are met; take immediate corrective action when quality or efficiency issues are identified.
Coordinate with management, production personnel, and maintenance department on production problems and recommend changes in equipment or work practices to improve production standards and comply with changes in Federal and State regulations.
Supervise workers in daily work assignments; provide input regarding performance to Sanitation Supervisor. Inspect premise for cleanliness and total housekeeping within production area.
Responsible for ensuring required safety training occurs.
Compile required reports and documentation regarding operations, inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
Review and verify daily production reports and time clock reports.
Maintain adequate stock of supplies required to properly operate Production Department.
Gather production records from in-feed and pack-off, verify production count, and make notes of any problems and downtime, if Production Manager is not available.
Attend all department and company required trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must be experienced working with computers and have the ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions. Position Summary: The Casting Plant Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of the casting department. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire casting operation-from workforce leadership and production planning to quality assurance and inventory control. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Casting Plant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Leadership Champion and continuously improve a strong safety culture across the casting operation. Enforce adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements; provide corrective actions and retraining when necessary. Lead and conduct regular safety training, audits, and toolbox talks.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision Directly supervise casting personnel in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. 4. Quality & Compliance Oversight Ensure all aluminum alloy outputs meet specified quality standards. Review and validate environmental and quality documentation daily. Lead initiatives to improve consistency, reduce waste, and optimize material usage.
5. Inventory & Resource Management Maintain real-time visibility and accuracy of raw material and finished goods inventories. Track all materials used in casting and verify output inventory for alignment with production records.
