Supervisory Responsibilities Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift. Responsible for scheduling manpower according to daily production schedule Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Supervisor Accountability Starts up procedures for furnaces, bag house, line feeder, ovens, computers. Understand how to perform all tasks using the equipment. Experienced in Start Up procedures for furnaces, bag house, line feeder, ovens, computers. Responsible for contacting Maintenance and the Plant Manager if there are any equipment issues, breakdowns, power outages and safety concerns with the equipment and/or line. Understand the inline process and flow and how to speed it up and slow it down. Responsible for all material and finished product specifications for the finished product. Brings forth any concerns to the Plant Manager Control the cooling water for the casting line. Turn on the cool water when casting starts. Turn off the cooling water when casting stop. Quality Product discoloration (can happen with other materials) Supervisor will report to plant manager Report to supervisor immediately if there is any discoloration on the product Responsible for sampling 0 testing the alloy to ensure it is meeting product specifications every 30 min or as required Identifies the casting molds that need to be coated and assigns to Laborer Ensures all products are uniform, level, stacked properly, banded properly Inspects that products finished goods meet the specs required by the customer.
