Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for a Director, Validation to provide leadership for all validation activities. This person will be responsible for all clinical and commercial manufacturing support through facilities, equipment, filter, cleaning, and manufacturing process validation, support commissioning and qualifications of capital projects, computer systems qualification, and oversite of the entire validation program.
This person must have experience working with oral-solid doses.
Responsibilities
Development and oversight of corporate validation program to ensure compliance with cGMPs, FDA and EU guidelines. This includes guideline and policy development and enforcement.
Responsible for preparation and management of corporate validation budget which includes clinical and commercial operations support and capital projects.
Mentoring and developing staff which entails selecting and grooming department management team. Also, provide continuous assessment of team and implementation of various training programs to mitigate department weakness with respect to technical and compliance topics.
Participate in corporate Capital Project Review Team and act as Quality representative.
Develop and utilize department metrics as a tool for continuous improvement.
Clearly define departmental roles and responsibilities with respect to internal and external boundaries.
Provide annual reviews for departmental management team which includes establishment of individual goals and objectives.
Review and approve departmental purchase requisitions.
Translate corporate vision and goals into departmental goals and initiatives and provide oversight for success. Collaboration on site goals and policy creation along with assurance that tactical implementation of goals and policies are adhered to.
Anticipate, analyze, and resolve issues within local Quality department as well as interdepartmentally. Create conditions and emphasize inclusion of all involved departments as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relatable field required.
12+ years' experience in cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Supervisory Experience: minimum of 6 years.
Working knowledge of Quality Systems.
Detailed knowledge of all aspects of validation.
Detailed working knowledge of GMPs, FDA Aseptic Processing Guideline, EU “Orange Book”, GAMP, and ICH guidelines.
Work with cross-functional leadership to provide resolutions to technical and/or personnel issues within projects and report issues to senior management and partners when they will have an impact on budget and/or timeline.
Communication skills - must be able to effectively communicate department vision to staff members. Also, must be able to communicate laterally within the quality unit and externally.

The Production Manager is responsible for managing the area within cost goals and producing sufficient quantities to meet customer demands with motivated and engaged associates. As required, the Production Manager acts as the sole authority over all site assets and activities during any periods of absence of the Plant Manager.
Essential Functions
Champions a safety culture in all site employees
Champions the training and improvements of quality goals in the production area
Leads by example with impeccable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) adherence.
Leads improvement efforts and automation efforts to maximize plant efficiency, performance and cost without compromising quality or safety
Leads focus teams and continuous improvement activities that focus on efficiency improvement, waste reduction, and savings initiatives
Leads efforts and mobilizes resources to reduce unscheduled downtime
Develops, measures, controls, reports, and takes corrective actions on site goals and strategies
Manage / guide the technical resources for the troubleshooting and repair of equipment problems
Recommends and implements changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization, as needed, to ensure goals are met
Develops, engages and enables all employees to realize full potential
Supports and encourages a culture of employee ownership
Adheres to all applicable procedures and policies
Drives training and cross-training to ensure production schedules are met within budget
Executes coaching and performance management as required to ensure goals are realized
Participates in the development of the annual department budget & strategic long-term planning
Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the plant environment
Develop and communicate business results daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly
Ensures the adherence and administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Ensure compliance to all OSHA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards
Chair of Joint Health & Safety Committee with the aim to drive high safety culture focus

Requirements
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate Degree in an Engineering-related field (or equivalent experience) plus five (5) years experience in production and/or engineering environment required.
Strong leadership capabilities in a fast-paced production environment required.
Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred. Functional experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, etc. preferred.
Position-Specific Skills:
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an organized, detailed manner, given limited time frames.
Must be flexible to work alternate shifts if production needs allow.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required.
This position will successfully lead and develop a team of Refresco employees.
An understanding of operational electrical and mechanical systems is a plus. Troubleshooting and Lean Manufacturing experience required.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
An understanding of SQF, responsibility for Food Safety /Food Quality and the responsibility to take action when notified or becomes aware of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.
Physical Demands:
Physical - Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight.
Visual/Sensory - This position requires the regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.

General Job Description
To meet the high demand for our products, we are creating this new position to lead the process of designing and crafting the bell ringing solutions that best meet our customers' needs. The
Director of Specialty Manufacturing
will work closely with our CEO, CTO, and engineering and production teams to design, engineer, and fabricate our most complex bell ringing and bell tower projects. Nearly every bell ringing project we undertake (several hundred each year) is different, driven by an infinite variety of bell ringing configurations and the historic architecture of the bell towers that house our products.

Specific Job Functions
Review and clarify the scope of work for new orders of replacement or renovated bell ringing equipment.

Collaborate with design engineering team to determine scope and layout of CAD drawings for new mechanical bell ringing equipment.

Qualifications
Preferred Job Qualifications
Minimum 10 years working in manufacturing with progressive leadership positions in project engineering, design, and/or custom fabrication, preferably with mechanical or metal-based products.
Fundamental understanding of mechanical and electrical products, as well as the tools and machinery involved in making such products.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

**Required Qualifications:**
