Field Operations Supervisor
As a Field Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for managing all MetroNet outside field operations in the assigned geographic area ensuring the efficient and timely completion of customer fulfillment requests for premise installation and repair. The Field Operations Supervisor also supports the video engineering and facilities engineering departments with hub site maintenance activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
You will oversee the selection, hiring, and career development of all field technicians
You will help establish and maintain a standard for equipping technicians with tools and test sets
You will manage the company tools and test set inventory and quickly address ‘loss' issues
You will help develop a supporting training and skills development curriculum for both new hires and existing employee and maintain its currency
You will manage workplace safety and provide safety training to employees as required
You will manage both the productivity and quality of work down to the individual employee level
You will assure that all technicians exhibit a ‘customer friendly' attitude promoting MetroNet's commitment “to serve with passion” and deliver an excellent customer experience.
You will monitor quality control of installation work - conducts on-site QC surveys for compliance with MetroNet installation standards and tracks QC compliance of individual technicians as well as generating monthly compliance reports
You will resolve customer complaints - investigates service and damage complaints and takes appropriate action to resolve the complaint
You will procure and coordinate installation activities of contractors as needed to meet work flow requirements
You will develop and maintain a district out-of-hours call out schedule
You will provide support to the video engineering and facilities engineering departments with the planning and maintenance functions for hub sites
You will assist the video and network engineering teams with the planning of all MetroNet hub sites in terms of advising as to their location, size, exterior appearance, and internal layout.
You will support the monitoring and maintenance of all hub site electronics and peripheral systems
You will assist with troubleshooting equipment failures and service affecting problems
You will rapidly respond to any security or equipment alarms
You will support Outside Plant with repair and maintenance activities
You will work with OSP manager to develop OSP preventative maintenance routines to minimize potential outages
You will provide assistance as needed with OSP repair and restoration activities.
Review all underground plant locate requests for MetroNet facilities and ensures accurate locating of subject facilities are completed timely.
You will ensure OSHA, NESC, NEC, and MetroNet safety regulations and precautions are followed for all work activities
You will keep up-to-date with FCC and other regulatory requirements and standards
You will support storefront manager with local utility relations
May be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of cable franchise management
Knowledge of economic development
Proven outside plant construction knowledge
Prior hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of customer inside wire
To support field personnel in 2nd tier technical support circumstances, the ability to use a spectrum analyzer ,OTDR, and other fault diagnosis tools
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Naturally model respect for others by listening well, encouraging others, and promptly returning phone calls/e-mails

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Supervisor to oversee key aspects of our resident care, medication management, and community operations during weekends. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance within our senior living community. We strongly prefer for this position to maintain an active nursing license as a LPN, LVN or RN but this is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication Responsibilities:
Ensure timely follow-up on medication orders and reorders.
Confirm that newly ordered medications are available and administered according to physician's orders.
Conduct medication cart audits and medication pass audits with Medication Techs to verify compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.
Handle cycle tasks due over the weekend if they have not been completed by the Assistant Wellness Director.
Utilize the medication dashboard to monitor and ensure compliance.
Resident Responsibilities:
Collaborate with doctors and third-party providers to coordinate resident care. Order outside services as needed.
Conduct daily visits to ill residents and update resident services in Eldermark based on signed service agreements.
Manage incident reports and follow-up investigations for incidents occurring over the weekend.
Welcome new admissions, ensuring all appropriate orders and service plans are updated and staff are educated on resident preferences and care plans.
Provide a comprehensive weekend report to the Executive Director, Wellness Director, Assistant Wellness Director, and Memory Care Director.
Employee Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate staffing for assigned shifts and manage front-line schedules and call-ins.
Host daily huddle and shift change meetings.
Supervise all staff to ensure adherence to regulations, policies, and best practices, addressing any deviations.
Community Responsibilities:
Conduct quality assurance rounds and follow up on any community complaints and concerns.
Manage work orders, support the dining program, and maintain community cleanliness standards.
Assist with weekend tours and move-in preparations.
Residents' Rights:
Uphold and ensure compliance with all regulations regarding residents' rights.
Training & Development:
Participate in training sessions as directed by your supervisor.
General:
Adhere to and communicate company policies and procedures.
