Major Responsibilities:
Provides work direction to the clinical and support staff with responsibility for the coordination of resources to efficiently support procedures, day-to-day operations and the smooth flow of patients through the department.
Provides support for direct patient care by performing the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and quality care through assessment of patients, establishment and implementation of the nursing care plan, and evaluation of clinical outcomes when necessary. Promotes an environment conducive to the delivery of safe, efficient and quality patient care, which may include performing patient rounding on a daily basis.
Coordinates the needs of the patient care team by initiating service complaint follow-up when necessary and promoting communication among patients, families, hospital departments and medical staff to optimize the interdependence of team members.
Acts as a resource to employees, which includes training/orienting, providing day-to-day work direction, and giving input on performance. Monitors employee assignments and works on assignments for the unit. Evaluates staffing levels and makes adjustments as necessary to maintain productivity level established for assigned area(s).
Monitors the quality of care provided. Assists in ensuring policies and procedures are followed in compliance with the medical center, the Nursing department, and regulatory and peer review agencies.
Provides input to budget and ensures adequate supplies and equipment and inventory are available for both the delivery of safe patient care and a safe work environment.
Works with management in developing new and existing programs and services.
Works with vendors for requested products and coordinates in-services for equipment. Participates in product trials, and submits recommendations to management in collaboration with the unit Educator or CNS.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Age-specific information is developed further in the departmental job standards.
Licensure:
* Nurse, Registered (RN)
Education/Experience Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Related Field; or Associate Degree and enrolled in BSN program within 2 years of hire and complete BSN degree within 5 years Typically requires 3 years of experience in clinical nursing within an acute care setting.

* Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.

Job Description
The Supervisor Production directs and coordinates activities concerned with all production operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. The Production Supervisor provides leadership/direction to Production Operators and ensures staffing and production schedules are adhered to. Completes documentation and carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), USDA Guidelines, and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety:
Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Immediately report all incidents and deficiencies to management; complete incident investigations.
Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly.
Monitor work environment for general food safety hazards such as condensation monitoring, etc.

Recommend methods to improve manufacturing processes including equipment performance to ensure product quality and increase efficiencies.
Implement and record Smokehouse's scheduled preventive maintenance.
Understanding of cook yields and work standards for the Smokehouse. Follow up, maintenance and analyzation of cook yields and work standards for the Smokehouse
Suggest and implement changes in processes and procedures to increase efficiencies and product quality.
Implement and monitor weekly requisitions for daily supplies, i.e., gloves, aprons, , etc.
Identify, control, and follow up on losses incurred due to substandard supplies, i.e., time and materials.
Complete and review all HACCP, and SSOP requirements and paperwork. This includes but not limited to Pre-Operational Inspection, Operational Inspections, Pre-Shipment Review, and Corrective Actions.
Monitor the lot-tracking program and ensure its accuracy. This includes Proper Lot # documentation, Sequence assigning, and corrections.
Verify work and storage areas are maintained safe, clean, and organized.
Prevent and minimize rework and inedible.
Verify proper storage and use of all cooler space.
Compile, store, and retrieve production data. (Lot Tracking, and Smokehouse data)
Conduct accurate weekly, period end, and year-end departmental inventories as required by the company.
Ability to perform activities of Team Members supervised.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information
The pay range for this role is
$63,032 - $86,669
(Annual). Actual wage will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link's Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Oglethorpe Power Corporation as we construct and commission a new state-of-the-art greenfield combined-cycle power plant. The Plant Manager will play a critical leadership role in the successful integration and startup of the facility, including building and developing the operations team over the next three years. This position requires close collaboration with the construction project team to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commercial operations.
During commissioning, the Plant Manager will lead key readiness and startup activities such as 3D model reviews, preventive maintenance (PM) program creation, training, spare parts review and ordering, and the development of operational and maintenance processes and procedures. The Smarr Combined Cycle Facility will utilize two 1x1 multi-shaft GE 7HA.03 combined-cycle units with GE HRSGs, GE steam turbines, and air-cooled condensers.
Upon commissioning, the Plant Manager will assume full responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the 1,425-MW facility, overseeing all operations, maintenance, technical, and administrative functions. This role ensures compliance with corporate safety policies, FERC, EPA, EPD, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement and fostering professional growth among plant personnel.
Plant Construction, Commissioning, and Startup:
Develop and execute integration plans for the Smarr CC facility to accept, operate, and maintain the new units once fully commissioned
Engage and lead the plant team during the supporting of commissioning and startup of the combined cycle power plant, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and OPC's technical specifications.
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the OPC project team, engineering, procurement, and EPC construction team to ensure a seamless and efficient transition from the construction phase to operational readiness.

Experience managing plant commissioning and startup is highly desirable.
Proven experience with new plant workforce development.
Equivalent Experience: B.S. Degree in Business, Engineering, or Physical Sciences, and eleven (11) years of progressively responsible experience in operating or maintaining of electric power station, of which (4) years were at a supervisory level.

Responsibilities:
