The Production Technician II operates assigned workstations and supports operations through autonomous maintenance, preventative maintenance, changeovers, and minor adjustments to ensure optimal line efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Operate and monitor production equipment; replenish materials as needed
+ Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available
+ Perform quality checks and adjust processes based on data findings
+ Troubleshoot line issues and handle empty cases
+ Train other operators on equipment use
+ Perform basic Autonomous Maintenance (CIL) activities
+ Demonstrate knowledge and application of 5S principles
+ Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required
+ Accurately record operational data
**Physical Requirements**
+ Regularly required to stand, walk, see, and smell
+ Frequent use of hands and wrists
+ Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, push/pull totes, and stack by hand
+ Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repeatedly
**Total Rewards:**
+ Starting pay: **$24.60** per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of **$25.87** per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

The Technician Production Operations is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment throughout reagent operations to a high level.
This position reports to the Filling Manager and is part of the Technical Support Team located in Chaska and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment related to production. This includes, but not limited to, motors, pumps, relays, and other equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment and machinery.
Install and maintain a variety of machine tools and equipment with minimum direction.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum 1+ years of work experience
Knowledge of mechanical systems and their functions
A two-year associate's degree or higher degree

Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate's unique set of skills and level of experience. + Receives, inspects and evaluates all raw materials. Assists in the development, revision, etc. of raw materials as needed.

+ Reads and interprets water charts for production recipes.

+ Reviews blueprints/sketches of shape specifications. Compares assembled forms and finished shape measurements to blueprints to evaluate quality.

This includes unloading trucks of raw materials, following recipes to mix desired components, packaging the product in drum/pail/tote, loading the product on to trucks, troubleshooting/repair of equipment and maintaining facility sanitation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:
Unload raw material trucks using pumps and hoses
Unload packaging material trucks using forklifts
Follow the facility environmental, health and safety program guidelines
Support the Maintenance Manager with equipment troubleshooting and repair
Follow written procedures and recipes to mix product components
Package the finished product in drums/totes/pails
Support facility sanitation program to ensure site is perpetually audit ready.
Ensure finished product is packaged properly and leaves the site in phenomenal condition
Load the finished product using a forklift
Conduct in-process lab testing
Complete batch paperwork and truck bills-of-lading
This position is responsible for producing, packaging, and shipping on time deliveries to our customers. Adhering to GMPs, food grade standards, and maintaining a high level of safety, quality, and customer service. The duties include blending, sampling, documentation, and packaging of products in totes, drums, and pails. Loading and unloading of bulk tanker trailers. Operating a forklift to store finished goods, receive supplies, and load tractor trailers or containers.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Three years in a production environment preferably in the food industry.
Builds collaborative relationships with other team members
Demonstrated strong forklift driving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
Good mathematical background
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Good communication skills (written and verbal); ability to listen, and excellent grammar

These opportunities are open due to growth and a planned expansion at the facility in the coming years! An ideal candidate will have some prior manufacturing experience and at least a high school diploma or GED.
Job Description
This role will be supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing by operating and troubleshooting automated machinery. We currently have openings on both 1st shift and 3rd shift - most are 12 hour shifts. 1st shift openings are 6am - 6:30pm on a 2-2-3 schedule and paying $18/hour, while 3rd shifts are 6pm - 6:30am on a 2-2-3 schedule and paying $19/hour.
Responsibilities
* Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing
* Put/feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities
* Track material inventory and electronic batch records
* Perform Documentation
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
* Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety.

* Must have at least 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
