How You'll Make an Impact:
Operate machinery, process and/or filling equipment to meet production goals
Set up production lines correctly and perform core Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities
Operate equipment such as fillers, sleeve labelers, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, ink jet printers, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses
Review filling and packaging instructions and ensure correct materials and PPE are available
Perform quality checks, including taking samples and monitoring fill weights
Document quality and productivity data accurately in paper or electronic systems
Assist with line changeovers and wash water collection
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects to drive continuous improvement
Identify and help eliminate sources of waste in systems and processes
Position Details:
Plant location: Kennesaw, GA Plant
Work week and shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm
Compensation package offered: $17.60 per hour with some OT

**Your role at Clorox:**
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a position as a machine operator to operate, maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment at our Atlanta-West facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production lines operate efficiently with minimal downtime while adhering to site safety practices. Production lines vary in heavy industrial machinery equipment; the operator's technical skills will utilize a combination of mechanical knowledge for products to be at the highest standards of quality.
Starting hourly rate: $24.63 with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system. Shift differentials for overnight shift hours. Note this role is rotating swing shifts- rotating both day and night shift. Shifts are 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM.
**In this role, you will:**
- Operateproduction line machinery equipment efficiently, ensuring start/set ups, and running times for products are maintained accurately.
- Perform changeovers on lines/equipment's, following established procedures and protocols and safety standard guidelines.
- Capable of troubleshooting, fixing, and repairing mechanical malfunctions, product jams, or failures, utilizing mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Identify quality issues as they arise, collaborating with teams as needed to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies and/or parts assigned ordering replacements as needed.
- Assist with completion of improvement projects and equipment installations, working with the engineering team as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and responsibly.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with established procedures.
- Attending all the training sessions required, staying up to date on new equipment and technologies.

**What we look for:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- The minimum of (1-2) years of previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is ideal. (3+ yrs. highly preferred).

- Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and mechanical technical skills (highly preferred).
- Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, as well as quality control principles, i.e., SOP's, GMPs, 5S's, WCM.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to lift and load tires of all sizes: personal vehicle, truck and tractor tires.
Show up on time.
Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion and sound judgment.
Assisting with machine operation
May assist in performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to dispatch, clean equipment.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards.
Other duties will be assigned as necessary by the company, such as truck cleaning and customer service visits to stores, to ensure they have enough work in the slow season.
Skills and Abilities:
Lift up to and including 50 pounds(50+ with assistance) on a routine basis.
Must be physically capable of climbing in a trailer unassisted in a safe manner to reduce injury.
Learn to lace tires in a safe manner to prevent injury and maintain a secure load during transport.

The Machine Operator's primary responsibility is to support the running of production equipment to ensure maximization of uptime, including being able to safely start, operate and lock out a piece of equipment. Periodically test the operation of machines and fix issues that might occur during the shift

Labeling, Portioning & Meal Bagging
Follows direction from Supervisor, Machine Lead to fulfill production requirements
