Objective of Position: Regularly perform tasks for a 12 hour period to maintain optimum operation, with minimum down time of equipment and produce high quality product in a safe efficient manner while maintaining good housekeeping of assigned production line. Safety: Safety is a condition of employment at Genpak. The Utility will be responsible for individual compliance with all safety rules, regulations and policy procedures. Employee responsibilities include but are not limited to: Compliance with all facility safety rules and regulations. Reporting any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor. Maintaining floor safety discipline by interceding with fellow Associates, who may engage in rule violations and/or unsafe, unhealthy activities. Communicating to management those Associates who persist in violations of safety rules and/or procedures. Wearing required personal protective equipment properly and reporting any defective PPE. Reporting all near misses, accidents, injuries or illnesses, including Muscular Skeletal symptoms or disorders. Responsible for following established lock out/tag out procedures. All equipment and machinery shall be locked or tagged out before an employee places any body part in equipment during servicing or maintenance where the unexpected energization, start-up or release of stored energy, could cause injury. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Check material box levels (color, additives, crystal, regrind) at the beginning of each Shift. 30 minutes Periodically check material flow, troubleshoot and resolve issues. 30 minutes Assist with bringing supplies and materials to the production line. (i.e., boxes, pallets, bulk bins, film and other supplies required to package product). 30 minutes Label weigh, store all regrind and raw materials at designated areas. 30 minutes Assist with relieving other Associates for breaks. 3 associates plus himself x 75 minutes = 300 / 60 = 5 hours Remove all trash and cardboard from the packing area by the end of shift. 45 minutes Grind scrap sheet and bad product accumulated. Varies in time base on how the lines or running. 1 hour Assist the Line Operator in starting the line. 30 minutes Assist with maintaining good housekeeping of the line, replacing oil pads on the forming station and around the Trimpress. 1 hour Assist with cleaning the grinder pit. 15 minutes Assist with making material line connections/disconnections. Unstopping lines. 30 minutes Assist with monitoring material handling systems. 1 hour Cleaning blender filters, monitor and empty outside pump cyclones on SL 3. 1 Setup and breakdown Gaylord boxes. 15 minutes Clean blending room daily. 2 rooms. 30 minutes And other tasks as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Night Production Technician We are seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Production Operator with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. I/E, electrical, and programming experience is a plus. You will be responsible for working in the field with other teams to install new infrastructure (well, equipment, facilities), perform repairs, perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment, diagnose issues, conduct root cause failure analysis, pre and post job reviews, handle contractor work, collect data / validate conditions, and investigate customer/3rd party issues. Job Description Teijin Automotive Technologies is seeking Production Operators on all shifts for a fast paced production environment. Position is responsible for Operation of compression molding presses and other equipment for the purpose of producing a quality product for our customers. GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Check all equipment for proper operation at shift start and communicates to the relieving shift any deviation of the normal process and any problems that might have occurred. 2. Understand scheduled rate quantities and the importance of obtaining each process rate. 3. Notifies Supervisor as soon as possible of any mechanical, process or quality problems so the proper steps may be taken to facilitate quick response. 4. Inspects as many parts as possible to see that all operations prior to and including their operation have been completed satisfactorily as outlined by the instructions and visual aids. 5. Performs normal housekeeping duties within a reasonable area of the workstation during and prior to end of scheduled shift. Keeps the station neat and reports safety hazards to the Supervisor immediately. 6. Willing and able to work on other operations after completion of training on primary operation (cross training). 7. Obtain knowledge of all process layouts. Operator will be expected to assist in the proper layout of the processes according to the MWI standards. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. General Education. 2. Good assembly skills / dexterity. 3. Good judgment and decision skills. 4. Team oriented. 5. Able to work at quick pace. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Excellent health and physical condition required. Knowledge of chemicals specific to job-some exposure to fumes. Jobs consist of repetitive motion with good range of motion involving bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and prolonged standing. Physical requirement of lifting up to 50 lbs. Personal protective equipment required. Must be able to work in close proximity to high temperature molds and materials (290°F/ 450°F). Considerable effort required due to pace of job. Some telephone usage required. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required. Starting Pay $17.36 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts. Key Functions:Total commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and regulations. Responsible for cleaning the assigned production area, which involves sweeping and removing debris. Responsible for operating equipment in assigned area when operators are on break or otherwise not available. Feeding or placing items onto equipment for processing or removing items after processing. Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as delegated. Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned area of responsibility.
