The Production Lead must be comfortable directing operators in accordance with company policy and will report any violations to the Production Supervisor. While a strong candidate will exhibit qualities of a leader, they must also be able to perform all operator functions. This means they must be capable of operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's semiconductor products.
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Coordination (40%)
Sets daily team goals in accord with processing demands; organizes staff to efficiently produce required weekly output
Understands tool utilization and maximization for greater output
Understands process flow and can identify needs and abundances; rearranges workforce and requests assistance as needed to resolve
Oversee daily passdown from previous shift
Equipment Operation & Hands-on Production (30%)
Operate traditional fab equipment; wafer saw and grind equipment
Follow proper wafer handling guidelines; handle thin wailers and can correct Operators if guidelines are not being followed
Setup and operate assigned production equipment striving to achieve goals for quality, efficiency and productivity
Perform first level maintenance
Quality & Compliance (15%)
Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances
Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship
Must have a working knowledge of all OP's for audits and CAR's
Team Development & Support (10%)
Keeps a pulse on employee needs and personnel issues; intervenes and/or seeks HR/Operations Manager support
Assists with training
Encourages sharing of best practices within the team; breaks down barriers to teamwork; resolves conflict effectively
Cross-functional Collaboration (5%)
Interface with engineering, management, and maintenance
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

Minimum Qualifications:
1-3 years of machine operating experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Must be able to work compressed work shifts and have the ability to attend possible meetings/classes off shift
Standing for 12hour shift
Lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
Good mechanical aptitude, vision/finger dexterity and attention to detail

Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (initial training period), then transition to 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., three days on, two days off, three days on.
Position Description:This Manufacturing Technician position involves hands-on work in a high-volume chemical manufacturing and processing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, loading, sampling, and unloading of bulk chemical materials, including sulfuric acid, ammonium fluoride, hydroperoxide, and other industrial-grade acids.
Technicians will operate and monitor large-scale production systems - including 3,000-gallon tank wagons, transfer pumps, and bulk containers - ensuring compliance with all OSHA, PSM, and environmental safety standards. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
An Ideal Candidate for This Company Would Possess the Following Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on chemical handling experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial setting.
Demonstrated ability to safely handle hazardous materials (sulfuric acid, hydroperoxide, ammonium fluoride, etc.) while following strict PPE and safety standards.
Knowledge of chemical compounding, sampling, and transfer operations, including documentation of process data and corrective actions.
Understanding of hazardous chemical labeling, SDS requirements, signage, and safety symbols.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating powered forklifts (sit-down and stand-up); certification preferred.
Ability to safely load, unload, and transfer containers and bulk materials using forklifts and mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Risk Management Plan (RMP) awareness standards.
Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and confined space procedures.
Experience using LIMS, SAP, or comparable systems for data logging, maintenance requests, and sample tracking.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; able to identify and correct process deviations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work safely under minimal supervision.
Comfortable using tablets, computers, and digital systems for documentation and process monitoring.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Must maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to obtain and maintain Emergency Response Team (ERT) certification (training provided).
Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed in a 24/7 production environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Under the direction of the Production Coordinator, the Production Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the efficient operation of all production processes.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

* Responsible to maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.
* Make routine operation and preventative maintenance inspections of process equipment, report all unusual conditions, and prepare work orders for maintenance when required.
* Operate dump trucks, skid loader, front end loader, forklift and other equipment.
* Able to clean the preheater tower with jack hammers and air lances.
* As directed, reclaim sand, iron ore, gypsum and clinker into the process.
* Operate limestone reclaimers to face storage piles and position reclaimers prior to the start of reclaim operation.
* As directed, lubricate, inspect, adjust or make repairs to process equipment.
* Completion of the Area Safety Inspection, Mobile Equipment Checklist and any other documentation as required.
* General housekeeping - keep work areas clean.
* Must be able to work rotating shifts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
