Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles and tests various parts used to build gas detectors and other electronics/accessories related to gas detection; relies minimally on supervision for daily direction and execution. Ensures efficiency, quality, and productivity by evaluating and following production processes and instructions. Coordinates with assembly and production scheduling to organize work order sequence and schedule. Tests, troubleshoots, and calibrates products. Drafts and maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports, including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress. Has mastery & willingness/ability to train. Flexible and cross-trained as required. Develops credibility and a reputation for accountability and autonomy so that others trust they will deliver expected results. Can also perform essential duties of production assembler, plus other duties as assigned. Essential Abilities: Proficient in multiple processes, has mastered use of equipment. Relies minimally on supervision for daily production and administrative tasks. Assumes responsibility for definable projects. Requirements Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program (preferred).
