Primary Purpose: Our company is in the process of opening a new 60, 000sqft manufacturing facility in Baldwin, FL (suburb of Jacksonville, FL). This facility will primarily focus on manufacturing and fabrication of electrical control panels and modular buildings for the electric utility and industrial electrical markets as an extension of our successful Winslow, ME facility, in operation since 2004. The position is a key role in the Baldwin, FL business unit as a key resource in producing the equipment as supplied with engineered systems. This position is responsible for modular building assembly, skidded control system fabrication, and general mechanical tasks. Major Responsibilities: Mechanical fabrication of modular control buildings from custom steel bases to wall/roof assembly, and full fit out with doors, HVACs, etc. Proper layout of mechanical equipment within modular building. Assemble mechanical equipment per WM standards and engineered drawings. Assembling, installing and mounting electrical and mechanical equipment and components in a neat and professional manner within modular control buildings. Ability to visually locate components and determine proper clearances, etc. Properly label and document component identification and location. Assist with preparing assembled equipment for system testing procedures. Maintain a clean and organized production area on a daily basis. Reviews BOM (bill of materials) to assess equipment receipt and readiness for project assembly. Proper use of industrial tools, such as, welders, grinders, band saws, shear, punches, bender, overhead crane, and forklifts. Technicians conduct the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the cannabis production cycle, including packaging, and labeling of cannabis for our customer. Lab: Learns the extraction processes to facilitate and drive distillate and concentrate production. The technician will perform a broad range of duties related to day-to-day operations and production of oil. That includes preparation and extraction of plant material, the preparation of solutions, supplies, materials, and equipment, cleaning & maintenance of equipment and facilities proper and safe use of equipment and materials. Kitchen: Responsible for having the basic knowledge of all daily operations in an edible and cannabis infused kitchen. Assisting in the preparing food items and other culinary activities as directed by the kitchen manager. Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and operating all equipment safely in its intended manner. Duties and Responsibilities Packaging: Operating and maintaining kitchen and packaging systems/equipment: monitoring, calibrating, running, and troubleshooting systems; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning production areas, kitchen workspaces and tools. Ensure daily QA/QC compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols. Physical requirements Prolonged sitting, standing and / or walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift. Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina. Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants. Occasionally operate power hand tools and other cultivation machinery. Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects. Occasional lifting, positioning or moving items up to 50 pounds. We are seeking a Machine Operator for a fabrication company in the Green Cove Springs, FL area who has experience running machines, roll lines, press brakes, roll mills, stamping, and/or industrial steel machines. Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 5pm to 5:30am, with overtime as needed Pay: Starts at $16 - $17 / hour Job Duties of the Machine Operator: Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material. You will be pushing, lifting and moving relatively heavy parts and will be on your feet all day. Qualifications / Requirements of the Machine Operator: 1 years' experience with calipers required. 1 years' experience operating manufacturing machinery required.
