Highlights of your role
Assemble products using tools and automated equipment, this could include drilling holes, measuring parts, cutting parts, or using a saw.
Communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing to carry out job functions and work with your team.
Read visual and written instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts and deliver to production lines.
Work closely with your supervisor to troubleshoot any mechanical or material issues.

Cirrus of Grand Forks is looking for Manufacturing Technicians. The Cirrus Facility in Grand Forks produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. Cirrus is committed to your success. Our comprehensive training program, Cirrus University, will provide you with the hands on training and mentoring you will need to be successful in our Manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday; 5:00am - 5:30pm, OT as required.
* Please note, you will be scheduled for 36 hours per week on this shift, with an extra 4 hours being paid on a weekly basis. There is also a 12% differential added to this shift.
Job duties can include multiple fabrication responsibilities including; hand fabrication of composite parts, tooling preparation and maintenance, cutting and trimming of various manufacturing materials, oven operation, and many more manufacturing processes.
Progression plan with pay increases:
* Technician Level I (6 months)
* Technician Level II-III (1-2 years)
* Technician Level IV (3-5 years)
Competency/Position Requirements:
A manufacturing technician will have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast paced team environment, be dependable, have a passion for learning and possess attention to detail. All manufacturing employees must have a basic ability to use, or learn to use a computer to access Cirrus Aircraft electronic data & software.
Manual Dexterity:
You will need to use your hands with precision on small items and in small spaces. You must be quick and confident with your hands.
Qualifications: Good work history required. Ability to pass pre-employment drug test. A combination of schooling and general mechanical knowledge also considered relative experience and all should be detailed on your application and/or resume.

The Manufacturing / Production Technician will have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast-paced team environment, be dependable, possess attention to detail and must have a basic ability to use, or learn to use a computer to access electronic data & software.
Essential Functions:
Fabricates composite parts using hands and machinery.
Prepares tooling and performs necessary maintenance.
Cuts and trims various manufacturing materials.
Operates oven.
Inspects and installs aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts.
Follows engineering drawings and specifications to install, connect, or bond aircraft parts using adhesives, rivets, or threaded fasteners.
Ensures fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements.
Prepares and uses fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.
Routes wire harnesses in accordance with specifications.
