We are looking for an ASSEMBLER II

What our ASSEMBLER II does:
Assembling the components of the job, which may include machining and/or assembling various millwork products such as exterior and interior door units.
Operating machinery that modifies the product (ex. chop saws)
Preparing the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc.
Inspecting the overall quality and accuracy of assembled product throughout the assembly process
Repairing and disassembling returned or defective millwork to prepare it for resale or return to stock.
Performing routine maintenance on all tools used including cleaning, oiling, checking to ensure proper functioning, calibrating machines, checking measuring tool accuracy, and notifying a supervisor of larger repairs or malfunctions.
Working in a safe manner:
Participating in all safety training and meetings
Understanding and complying with the Company safety policy
TOOLS USED: Include but are not limited to chop saw, table saw, rip saw, hand saw; router, nail gun, screw gun, door machine, various pneumatic tools, and drills.
What you need to have:
High School diploma or GED and one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations.

The Finish Coater Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the roll coater equipment located in the finish coating room. The Finish Coater Operator is responsible for correctly reducing and applying the raw (wet) coating to the strip in accordance with customer and/or paint manufacturers requirement(s). Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the safe operation of the roll coater in the finish coating room located on the paint line. Operation of the coater is performed in accordance with documented work Instructions.
Responsible for adjustment of the viscosity of the coating to meet the application requirements and those requirements specified on the Product Data sheet by the coatings supplier.
Responsible for insuring that the roll coater is set-up correctly (rolls installed, paint pumped into the pans, etc.) and in a timely fashion prior to the start of each new shop order.
Responsible for monitoring and adjusting the coater equipment (roll speeds, kiss, etc.) as product is processed in order to maintain product quality and ascertain potential non-conformities.
Responsible for complete clean-up of the roll coater equipment upon completion of a production order, including removal/changing of rolls, recording of paint usage & drum/batch numbers, etc.
Responsible for inspection of the strip surface and identification of non-conforming surface quality conditions. Notifies the Paint Line Crew and/or Quality Control when non-conforming product conditions are detected
Responsible for understanding and complying with the fundamental principles associated with the Quality and Environmental Management System in place at BCP.
Communicates daily with internal personnel from Maintenance, Production and Quality Control in order to help resolve any problems and help achieve company goals.
Environmental Impacts of the Finish Coater:
The Finish Coater Operator has the potential to release solvents, paints, waste solvent and waste paint into the environment, which could impact the soil, air and water. A release can occur by spill, open containers, fire and the coater room doors being left open. Surface contamination from spilled paint and/or solvent would be the most common impact while performing the daily operations of the Finish Coater. Caution needs to be taken to prevent spills. When a spill does occur, BCP (Spill Response, Log and Report Procedure) must be followed.
