The Production Operator performs a variety of assembling, molding, trimming, gluing, inspecting and packaging of products based on assigned area.
Responsibilities:
Maintain all process documentation in a timely and accurate manner, and perform all pre-start checklists, glue weights, tallies, and other job related audits and system checks.
Read and follow standardized work and job instructions to manufacture, trim, inspect, and pack product in a safe and efficient manner to quantity and quality specifications of assigned work cell.
Rotate job assignments within a job cell as well as in other cells as required to secure material, perform the pertinent operations (assemble, mold, spray, trim, glue, weld, inspect, pack etc.).
Observe operation of machinery in assigned cell duties to provide quality parts in conformance to customer specifications.
Sign off on work performed for traceability.
Perform 5S duties as required and maintain housekeeping standards of cell assigned.
Communicate effectively with other team members in the cell as well as attend all team meetings, problem solving sessions, training, shift meetings, etc.
Report immediately any job related injuries to cell coordinator.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); and minimum six months manufacturing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read elementary operating instructions, production boards, material labels, safety and hazard warnings, manuals, etc. and writing ability to complete process forms and related production reporting paperwork.

Responsible for the creation and all documentation associated with production, quality, safety including the creation and updating of production documentation, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Detect and correct any faults or deviations during the mixing process; monitor equipment for abnormalities, solve minor problems without assistance and eliminate potential threats to production.
Eliminate technical deficiencies and communicate effectively with maintenance personnel regarding recurring problems and needs for repair.
Comply with all GMP and quality procedures.
Follow established performance and product specifications such as product weight, product size, machine output, labeling, code dates, product quality etc.
Function as needed in various capacities, including moving supplies and discard, filling in for other teammates as necessary and other duties as assigned.
Promoting and maintaining a safety oriented and team based culture.
Has knowledge and understands OSHA, HACCP, SQF, ISO and Safety requirements within a food manufacturing environment.

As a Utility Operator for Allegion, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and operating systems to ensure operations are running smoothly. **We are hiring for FIRST SHIFT.
**Starting Pay $18.35.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Operate machines in a safe manner per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
+ Set up tooling or station based on SOP.
+ Monitor processes as parts are being produced to ensure quality and accuracy documenting the operations performed.
+ Verify all operations have been inspected and completed before moving completed parts to next work cell.
+ Organize and maintain the work area.
+ Maintain all the machines as instructed by the preventative maintenance documentation.
+ Perform advanced tasks under minimal supervision.
+ Assist less experienced team members.
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ Manufacturing experience (preferred)
+ Previous operating experience
+ Ability to work under minimal supervision
+ Ability to handle complex issues and problems
+ Ability to understand and follow directions
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Description
When Alfred Fain founded a small Rhode Island tire store in 1924, at the time no one could have predicted how Teknor Apex would become an international custom compounder sought out by companies around the world. **Responsibilities: **
Keep work area clean.
Maintain established quality standards per production requirements.
Take and evaluate samples as required.
Maintain operating conditions within the set run conditions.
Maintain maximum line speeds and productivity of all machines assigned.
Fill out all required production records accurately and completely.
Other work as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor.
Operation of the assigned equipment and any auxiliary equipment associated with the operation of the assigned area.
Inform the crew leader/shift supervisor of any safety, mechanical, or operational problems.
Document actions completely and accurately as required on receiving, QC, and assigned paperwork.
This role is a full-time position within our site where we have a team approach to manufacturing. Timely and Regular attendance is crucial to your success and the safety of the team.
There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based manufacturing, production areas must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require additional overtime hours outside of normal shift schedule.
Training/Relief Operator:
Complete General Responsibilities.
Relieve operators for breaks and assist with operational issues and changeovers as needed.
Knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and solve most operational problems.
Ability to communicate instructions and train employees as needed.
** Skills / Qualifications: **
Read and write notes on the production report.
Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar, all communications must be in English.
Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Hose Specifications according to batch cards and run conditions.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
** Physical Requirements: **
Handle machine parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 50 times per shift.
Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.
Tolerate summer heat of 15 degrees above outside temperatures.
Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar.
Body agility to enable bending, stooping and lifting hose, tools and other items needed to perform the job. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 25 times per shift.
