I. Overview
A palletizer operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and cleaning of palletizer and robot palletizing equipment. This role also includes maintaining the organization and cleanliness of their respective work areas.

II. General Qualifications
a. Team members need to be able to work both independently and within a team environment effectively.
b. Team members should have strong time management skills.
c. Team members need to attend all required trainings:
i. Chemical Safety Training
ii. GMP, HACCP, and Allergen Training
iii. SQF Training
d. Team members need to be able to adhere to GMP requirements and comply with all Safety Rules and Procedures (including the requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment in some cases).
e. Basic trouble-shooting skills and positive attitudes are greatly appreciated and highly sought after.
f. All team members must be willing to work in other areas of the facility if business needs require it.
III. Palletizer Operator Requirements
a. General understanding of PMO requirements for Grade A dairy products.
b. Previous dairy manufacturing experience is highly recommended.
c. Work history showing reliable attendance on a consistent basis is a requirement.
i. Internal candidates must be at a level 3 or a level 4 to apply.
d. Understanding of process flow from filling to palletizer is highly recommended.
e. Scheduling and time management skills are highly recommended.
IV. Standard Work Schedule
Standard work schedule in operations follows an A, B, C, D shift schedule.
i. Each standard shift is 6a-6p or 6p-6a
ii. Each shift works off of a 2-2-3 schedule; 3 days on schedule one week and then 4 days on schedule the next week.
iii. Each shift has every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off.
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the safe operation of food manufacturing equipment, ensuring formulas are accurate, and completion of necessary paperwork.

What You'll be Doing:
Operating specific equipment within a designated area. Meeting daily production goals and requirements. Ensuring product quality and making adjustments to equipment as necessary. Ensuring weights and formulas are accurate. Proper completion of required paperwork. Following GMP's, CCP's and QCP's at all times. Immediately reporting food safety and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate team leaders. Training and instructing other team members how to properly operate equipment.
