Location Alachua, Florida (On-site position) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electronics Production Technician to support the manufacturing and assembly of our eBrief™ products. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electronics production, ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working closely with engineering and quality teams to assemble, test, and troubleshoot sensor-based devices, contributing to the production of innovative health monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, including sensors, batteries, and wireless modules, for eBrief™ incontinence monitoring devices following detailed work instructions and production guidelines. Perform quality control inspections, testing, and calibration of assembled products to meet FDA and internal standards. Troubleshoot and repair production issues, identifying defects in circuits, wiring, or firmware integration. Operate production equipment such as soldering stations, automated assembly tools, and testing instruments (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers). Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, inventory, and batch records in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and implement process improvements. Ensure a safe and organized workspace, adhering to ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols and safety standards where applicable. Support scaling production volumes while maintaining efficiency and product reliability. Qualifications and Requirements 3-5 years of experience as an Electronics Production Technician or similar role in electronics manufacturing, preferably in wireless devices or similar technology. Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical certification). Proficiency in soldering, PCB assembly, and using test equipment for wireless and electronics testing. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO9001) and regulatory compliance in production is a plus. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team. Basic knowledge of wireless communication protocols and battery-powered devices. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods during assembly tasks. Willingness to work in a controlled environment with occasional overtime to meet production deadlines.
