Performs setups and adjustments of machinery for assembling metal chain parts
Interprets job specifications and reads blueprints.
Inspects products to verify conformance utilizing various measuring devices.

Coordinates with others to achieve maximum throughput and meet department and company goals.
Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety regulations.
Operates material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and hoists.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Machine Operator will operate multiple machines while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting all production and quality standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Proven track record of operating multiple machines simultaneously.
Ability to run up to, but not limited to, three machines at one time and maintain a constant pace of filling product between machines.
Clean all machines as required by department procedures.
Perform all necessary quality checks.
Complete all necessary paperwork and all required documentation.
Assist other positions within the department as needed.
Follow all safety, machine rules, and procedures.
Sort out all defective products before packing.
Assure the correct product code/labels are on the box.
Correctly pack the product into the proper packaging per the Dispo. Tape boxes neatly and securely.
Place boxes on the proper skid with the correct amount of cases per layer and per skid.
Wrap all completed skids.
Maintain required levels of raw materials at all times for up to eight machines.
Set up all the supplies need to begin production.
Remove all trash, corrugated, and recycle from the designated section.recycle, and bulk materials.
Keep area safe and clean by assisting with sweeping of the designated section.
Communicate to Lead of any quality or sealer problems
Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the lead or supervisor

Job Summary
