Job DescriptionDescription: Install, maintain, and operate machinery according to instruction given by the Production Supervisor and/or Management. Assures consistent quality of production by operating machinery within parameters set by specifications for individual products. Includes following instructions; monitoring machine parameters; utilizing tools and machinery; filling documentation; interacting with staff. Requirements: Essential Job Duties and responsibilities: Set up and operate production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Verify line settings (operations/packaging) of equipment per established specifications. Maintains machinery to achieve optimum performance using tools available. May make needed repairs to machinery with instruction from Production Supervisor or Management. Interacts with quality control and other staff to ensure proper documentation is being filled out and quality control weights and measures are being documented. Verify weights/measures of finished product during manufacturing per established specifications. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Log data from testing performed, including weights and burst tank test. Communicate to Supervisor/Management in a professional manner. Follow and improve area processes as needed. Housekeeping and sanitation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to follow direction and fill forms for providing in-process quality control measures. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively. Produces machined parts by modifying and adjusting program code, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
