Overview: We're looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Sourcing Operations and Production professional to join our team on a temporary contract basis. This role is responsible for leading key sourcing operational functions with a focus on cost analysis, margin improvement, and adherence to time and action calendars. LEVEL 1 DESCRIPTION: Requires some supervision. Ability to set up machine according to SOP. Ability to operate machine according to SOP. Ability to use measurement tools in process. Ability to use Axis system for product entry. Demonstrates teamwork. Ability to complete general machine maintenance checklist. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year manufacturing related experience Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read and interpret work orders, use simple math, and use basic handheld and measuring tools. Must have competent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with others and comprehend work instructions. Basic computer skills required to use keyboard to open appropriate screens, enter data, save and print tags and production sheets; also have t know how to scan and save documents. Be an effective team player as well as an independent worker. Occasionally assist in training of individuals in the machining process. Physical Demands: Standing or sitting for long periods of time including entire shift Light to moderate physical effort required, involving lifting, pulling, pushing and bending. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Regularly required to reach and move about the facility. Personal Protective Equipment: Safety Glasses must be worn at all times. Steel toe safety shoes must be worn at all times. Ear plugs must be worn when appropriate.
