Production Technician

Summary: This entry level position requires job rotation using several different machines including CNC machining centers, spade machines, reamers, rotary index machines, grinding machines and assembly processes.
Essential Functions
Load and remove parts from machines.
Visually inspect parts for quality defects.
Using grinding equipment to clean flashing and imperfections off parts.
Assemble several components to produce a complete part.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed while working with others.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Production experience a plus.
Some computer skills needed.
Attention to detail and organizational skills needed.
Must be able to handle repetitive motion of placing metal castings into a fixture and then removing it and then place it into a basket.
Must be able to operate small handheld tools on a regular basis.
Must be able to visually inspect machined parts as well as gauge them utilizing several types of hand-held gauges.
Must be available to work overtime hours on a shift or mandatory Saturday overtime.
Physical Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day.
Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift.
Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting.
Shift Details
3rd Shift is Sun - Wed, 4X10hr shifts, 8:15 pm - 6:45 am.
All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.

Position Summary:
The Missouri Historical Society seeks a part-time Production Technician who can work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of work that requires high attention to details and strategic thinking. Production Technicians provide high quality staging and technical support at Missouri Historical Society properties. This includes but is not limited to audio, video, lighting and stage production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain and safeguard the institution's production equipment
Deliver, set-up and breakdown equipment for presentations and events
Operate lighting boards, audio mixers, microphones and LIVE production switchers
Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Completed at least 2 years of vocational program, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's Degree in audio production, video production, theater studies, or related field preferred
Knowledgeable of PC and MAC based applications and connectivity, LIVE audio and video production; audio and video editing software
Flexible availability: Must have availability at least three weekdays per week [6am-4pm], three weekday evenings per week [4pm-11pm] and one weekend [9am-7pm] each week. Schedules vary each week based on needs
