The following essential job functions are performed as a Production Technician:
Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents
Assemble and fit aircraft structural parts and subassemblies
Perform test fit and gap checks with high tolerances
Performs countersinking activities
Perform structural adhesive bonding preparation per product specifications and compliance programs
Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools
Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies
Layout and mark reference points
Keeps work orders stamped, dated and organized
Vacuum bagging in order to prepare parts for drop tests, de-bulking fabric, and infusion
Performs tabbing operations to work order specifications
General sanding and finish work using grinders and sandpaper as needed
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD free condition
Packages and crates parts for shipment, including shrink wrapping

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The Production Associate operates various machines and performs tasks related to the production of airbags, inflators, or component parts.
* Performs repetitive work requiring continuous alertness and attention to detail. Associates ensure that a high-quality product is produced.
* Makes suggestions to improve performance, quality, and/or costs in work area by applying Autoliv Production System (APS) principles.
* Monitors machines and verifies that parts meet specifications by using hand gauge measurements and/or visual inspection.
* Promotes quality and safety rules while maintaining work area in a clean and orderly condition.
* Trains and/or instructs others as required.
* Maintains reliable attendance and a full-time work status.
* Adheres to safety standards.
* Relieves other employees for breaks, as needed.
* Must be able to stand for 8 hours, and lift 25-50 lbs.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Operate Robotics machines within the Robotics Team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely set up, adjust and operate robotics machines such as Palletizers, Fallas machines, Pearson, Schubert, Tumbler. May rotate positions, give breaks, and operate as schedule requires. Maintain area in good housekeeping order, complete required paperwork, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Participate as team member to accomplish training and cover schedules. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Support and participate in preventive maintenance program. Comply with food safety procedures and follow plant GMPs. Swing Shift.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or to have food service and food handling experience
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.00 plus $0.75 shift differential.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. Educational background in light industrial trades and/or in a post-secondary vocational program is a plus.

Strong work ethic, is reliable to report to work every day, and works a full shift and overtime as needed.
