Overview
We are looking for motivated Bioanufacturing Associates for one of our clients, a biotechnology company that developed a disruptive synthetic biology technology. The incumbent will perform basic molecular biology workflows in a highly automated, high-throughput manner and will be responsible for the manufacture of a variety of custom oligonucleotide products. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, be very neat and organized, have the ability to follow established SOPs, and complete manufacturing batch records to contribute to the daily production schedule. The ideal candidate will be driven and will do what it takes to keep manufacturing on track in a fast-paced start-up environment. The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for the production of custom gene-based products and/or various intermediates according to established SOPs and complete manufacturing batch records to contribute to the daily production schedule. They will uphold standards as defined by the manufacturing process, work on continuous improvement and have good time management resulting in efficiency, and work in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
Manufacture high-quality custom oligo-containing products in a high-throughput manufacturing lab according to established SOPs.
Operation of robotic laboratory equipment and traditional lab equipment (bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, HPLCs, Next-Generation Sequencing, etc.)
Daily use of traditional molecular biology processes and techniques, especially PCR, DNA quantitation and handling, and DNA purification
Maintaining thorough, accurate, and detailed documentation of all work produced in batch records, databases, or other acceptable formats, including problems and deviations
Updating and writing work instructions and documentation
Ability to work independently and in a safe manner
Attention to detail for process consistency
Documentation, troubleshooting, and addressing process deviations
Packaging products
Ability to work in an ISO, GMP, LEAN manufacturing environment and follow the lean manufacturing concepts
Daily completion of assigned tasks to keep manufacturing on track
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Associate's degree in biology, chemistry,or biochemistry: degree preferred, but will consider candidates with relevant laboratory experience
Familiarity or prior experience in a manufacturing environment

The Production Technician role encompasses all direct labor positions within the Assembly department. Technicians are
responsible for following written and oral instructions to perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small parts into
functioning knives. This may include Laser/Engrave, Serrate, Sharpening, Clean/Box, Prep, Material Handling, Taumel, Assembly,

Primary Job Function This bonus eligible position develops setups and installs various types of hardware per customer prints and manufacturer specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follows department standard operating procedures.
Performs setup of hardware machines per manufacturer recommendation.
Utilizes the correct tooling to ensure that hardware is secure, sits flush, protects threads, in the proper quantities, in the proper holes, to required torque in/out values.
Performs a broad range of simple to highly complex configurations, utilizing multiple types, lengths and widths in an array of patterns and flanges.
Installs pop rivets into complete units and sub-assemblies per customer prints.
Assemblies must meet cosmetic standards and function per customer needs.
Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.
Knowledge of and ability to properly use a rivet gun and various types and makes of hardware and pop rivets.
Strong blueprint reading, math and measurement skills.
Strong inspection skills.
Ability to determine whether hardware types, lengths and sizes are correct, and that installation does not harm thread.
Ability to understand proper setup and pop rivet new product lines and assure the correct head types, grip lengths and material type rivets are being used.
Ability to develop effective methods for installing hardware into parts or pop riveting assemblies.

Summary
The Machine Operator supports our commitment to exceptional customer service, quality and freshness by working quickly, efficiently and accurately to package roasted coffee, operate machinery, monitor the quality of the bags and prepare the coffee for delivery to our Customers. Essential Functions
Operates automated and manual packaging machines including vertical packaging lines, sealing machines and box erectors.
Conduct equipment change-overs and routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
Ensure strict quality standards including seal integrity and fill and oxygen levels are upheld and adjust packaging machine as needed.
Use both manual and mechanized processes to weigh, grind, bag and seal bagged coffee.
Rack, box or palletize to prepare bagged coffee for distribution.
Fulfill, pick and prepare customer orders for delivery with extreme accuracy.
Comply with established Good Manufacturing Practices and standards.
Complete work efficiently and safely, maintain a clean and tidy work space and restock and prep supplies as needed.
Utilize spreadsheets and email communication from Production Planner to support daily workflow in the most timely and efficient manner possible.
