Key Responsibilities
Perform aseptic manufacturing and filling operations under cGMP and cleanroom guidelines.
Prepare equipment and materials for sterile production, following established SOPs.
Maintain cleanroom cleanliness and adhere to strict gowning procedures.
Operate and monitor production equipment such as fillers, autoclaves, and lyophilizers (training provided).
Assist with component preparation, labeling, packaging, and in-process inspections.
Accurately complete production documentation, logbooks, and batch records.
Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards to maintain product integrity.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Participate in ongoing training for cGMP, aseptic technique, and cleanroom operations.
Qualifications

A Machine Operator has the following primary responsibilities:
Set up, start, operate, and shut down food production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and product consistency
Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance to prevent downtime
Accurately record production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered
Identify and report mechanical or safety issues to supervisors and maintenance
Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and sanitizing of machines between product runs
Support overall production goals and timelines through collaboration with other team members
Assist with production tasks as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
1+ year of machine operation experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose machines to deburr and polish metallic parts by performing the following duties:
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, accessories, and materials on machines such as turn tables and polishing machines.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of fixtures and assemblies.
Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings.
Utilizes abrasives, sanders, grinders and other hand tools to deburr and finish product to customer specifications.
Performs taping and masking processes of product for subsequent sandblast and machining operations.

Performs minor equipment preventative maintenance.
Cleans work area.
Follow company and departmental principles, rules, guidelines, etc. with regards to health and safety, ISO requirements, Lean manufacturing principles, and good housekeeping

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Metal deburring / polishing, 1 year (Preferred).
Sandblasting experience is a plus.
Ultrasonic cleaning experience a plus.
