Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Accountabilities (listed in order of priority) INSPECTS, LOADS, AND UNLOADS TRUCKS: Ensures traceability standards are met with the appropriate attention to detail (load right product, read the right paperwork, do not mix up product) while effectively and efficiently inspecting, loading, and unloading hopper bottom trucks, with assistance. PULLS CORN FROM BINS: Ensures traceability standards are met by differentiating between varieties with the appropriate attention to detail when pulling corn from the bins, with assistance. PROCESSES FINISHED PRODUCT: Based upon the quality of the product received from farmers, adjusts and operates the equipment on Line 1 to effectively and efficiently process a quality finished product that meets company standards, with assistance. MEASURES BINS: Effectively measures bins and accurately completes paperwork (daily, weekly and monthly) for quality inspection and monitoring purposes, with assistance. CLEANS EQUIPMENT: Cleans inside equipment (i.e. clippers, destoners, gravity tables, color sorter, magnets) autonomously and proficiently with an appropriate attention to detail as well as efficiency, with assistance. COMPLETES QUALITY REPORTS: With assistance, accurately completes, submits and maintains quality reports (checks quality every hour) in a timely manner. Reports any issues to Operator Lead. PERFORMS MAINTENANCE: With assistance from Lead Operator and/or Maintenance Lead, ensures inside equipment (i.e. clippers, destoners, gravity tables, color sorter, magnets) is working properly by partnering with Maintenance Technician to perform acute maintenance in a timely manner when problems occur. The North America team is currently looking for a Machine Operator on 2nd shift to join our Taylorville, IL facility. The Machine Operator operates various fabrication machines and fabricates material to specification, from job orders and document production data. The Operator must follow detailed instructions to ensure the accuracy of each product. They must inspect parts for any defects or inconsistencies and adjust as needed. The Operator must also monitor the machines to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. They must have a good understanding of the equipment and be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise. The Operator must be able to read and understand technical documents, follow safety guidelines, and maintain accurate records of production. Your Impact Set-up, adjust, program, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment. Who You Are: As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of the finished goods at our cultivation and manufacturing centers. You will be responsible for the production of a variety of finished products including packaged, dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges and vape pens, and infused products. Our production team is expected to maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products and will carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging, and labeling per standard operating procedures set by Curaleaf and our production management. You will be responsible for the production of a variety of finished products including packaged, dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges and vape pens, and infused products. Our production team is expected to maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products and will carry out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging, and labeling per standard operating procedures set by Curaleaf and our production management. What You Will Do: * Stage product and packaging supplies across various production lines to meet daily production schedule * Perform quality assurance protocols as designated by Curaleaf's procedures * Increase operational efficiency and reduce waste through ownership, teamwork, communication and collaboration * Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance, testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed Curaleaf's specifications and patient's expectations * Ensure 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout the entire packaging process * Operate in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, Curaleaf SOP's and all applicable required procedures * Ensure each product is properly labeled in compliance with state regulations * Work in a quick and efficient manner and strive to consistently increase productivity * Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the extraction room while performing all duties What You Will Bring: * High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum * Effective communication skills working in a team-based environment * Strong attention to detail skills working in a high-volume production environment * Strong work ethic and the ability to be punctual, reliable, and contribute to a positive, professional work environment * Ability to be trained on various production equipment, SOPs, and consistently meet performance expectations set by leadership * Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time Even Better If: * You have one year of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality is strongly preferred Physical Requirements: * Allergen warnings, potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens. * Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol. * Daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary. * Ability to work in confined spaces * Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms. * Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels. * High-stress tolerance, adaptable, flexible ability to work in an ever-changing environment
