Tear down and restore parts to inventory upon job completion
Create new printer programs and teach device layout paste checks for all fine pitch, BGA and specialty parts
Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations
Able to work with speed and efficiency while ensuring product quality

Job Purpose
The ProductionOperator is held by newly hired employees until they are placed into open positions after the union bidding process has completed for more senior employees. The ProductionOperator provides support to all areas of the facility including General Labor, Filling, and Paint Operator roles. This is an hourly position that requires union membership into Teamsters Union Local 284.

Key Responsibilities
* Proficient in the basic skills required for reading and understanding batch tickets, QC adjustment sheets, operating various transfer pumps, and use of process tanks and their associated valves, lids, etc.
* Operate Premix and Thindown Tanks
* Use mixing agitators, Automatic Dosing System (ADS), Intermix Systems, weigh scales, and other processing equipment as required
* Fill containers to prescribed weight or volume
* Drawdown paint samples and perform cleanliness checks
* Wash tanks as required
* Operate power lift equipment, including fork trucks
* General handling of 55 gallon drums
* Label and maintain hazardous waste drums
* Proper housekeeping of work areas and process equipment
* Sweep, mop, empty trash, clean and stock supplies in various locations throughout the plant and outside.

Job Requirements
* Be punctual and place importance on good attendance.
* Be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, which represents the typical weight of a bag of solid raw material or a 5-gallon pail of liquid raw material.
* Be able to move through various production areas, principally manufacturing areas/floors. This includes climbing stairs. Must be able to stay on feet for 8-12 hours each day.
* Have good eyesight and hearing.
* Be able to read and understand written instructions for making batches of products, material safety data sheets and other pertinent information necessary to perform assigned job functions.
* Be capable of safely handling chemicals and minimize hazards by being able to wear all required safety equipment and protective clothing as required by law and/or corporate policy. This includes, but is not limited to safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, vapor and dust respirators, safety gloves and flame-retardant uniforms.

This role is responsible for operating equipment in the finishing operations area, meeting target production speeds, ensuring quality standards are met for each project, and adhering to company guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in the efficient and effective completion of our production processes, contributing to our overall business success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment in a manner that meets our safety, quality and production standards.
Setup machines to meet specifications according to the job ticket provided.
Refer to the job ticket to locate important information to ensure job accuracy.
Run equipment at target productivity metrics to complete jobs on time.
Work safely to prevent accidents by keeping the area clean and free of any trip hazards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be able to read and understand a job ticket and adhere to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Mechanically inclined.
Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) to understand dimensional requirements contained in the job ticket, and to make more complicated adjustments.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and be held accountable for the quality of work produced.
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Load bagged feed onto delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
Inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging.
Operate and maintain the proper working order of tow motors, pallet jacks, bagging system, warehouse racks, etc.
Maintain accurate daily records regarding bag ingredient and production material/equipment deliveries and bag feed production, inventory, and loading.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Production Technician II who is eager to develop in the optical field onsite in Obetz, Ohio. Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (must be available for overtime as needed, including weekends)
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00/hour depending on experience Responsibilities:
Demonstrates working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Picking and unpacking lenses and frames for customer orders
Prepping and loading lenses into machines
Placing of receipted goods into correct locations
Maintain good housekeeping, 6S
Ensure daily / monthly KPI's are met
Adherence to all company policies, processes, and procedures (i.e. Health & Safety Awareness)
Report to management on activities and issues
Inter-department running
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong organizational skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills
You are proactive and have a strong ability to identify & problem solve
Follow instructions and production schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous warehousing experience is a bonus!
