The Team

How You Will Contribute
We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies. Associates frequently assist with the following types of engagements:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target's manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability.
Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities
Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity, including equipment conditions, maintenance logs, spare parts and detailed production numbers.
Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers and reviewing all available data
Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities
Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies
Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
Qualifications
2-5 plus years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions
Deep functional expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Supply Chain Operations
Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP
Footprint optimization, plant consolidation and product line transfer
Manufacturing strategy, CapEx planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT
Lean, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Engineering
Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis

The salary range is $90,000--$130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. The Opportunity
The Machine Operator is responsible for the proper and safe operation of different machinery used in the processing and packaging floor, while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Operate assigned equipment, including injection molding machines, auxiliary machinery, and secondary equipment as specified by the job.
Read and follow work instructions to understand job requirements and quality standards; stage the work area as needed by moving tables, pallets, boxes, mats, small equipment, stairs, and other items.
Inspect molded parts for common defects and job-specific defects; sort and handle parts accordingly; follow proper procedures for storage and scrap removal.
Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, clipping, trimming, deburring, assembly, or use of fixtures and secondary equipment as required.
Package parts per work instructions, apply labels, and stage/move finished goods for the next step in production.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
Provide shift pass-down by reviewing job assignments with incoming Operators, including assisting with basic training as needed.
Participate in end-of-shift cleaning activities such as sweeping, wiping surfaces, and removing trash.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Trainer, Production Manager, or other supervisor

Job Overview:
The Machine Operator in our Spoke NA1 metals recycling plant located in Mesa, Arizona will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining machinery used in the recycling process. This includes equipment for sorting, shredding, crushing, and processing metals. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery. The equipment used in heavy-industrial environments, including welding, rigging, heavy lifts, bearings, and industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
* Operate various machines and equipment used in the metal recycling process, including shredders, crushers, balers, and sorters.
* Monitor the machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficient recycling of metals.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
* Identify mechanical issues and report them to maintenance personnel or troubleshoot minor issues independently.
Quality Control:
* Inspect processed metals for quality and consistency, ensuring that the end product meets the required specifications.
* Ensure all recycling processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
Safety Compliance:
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
