About the Role: Production Associate
As a Production Associate at Kumon North America, you will:
Maintain and Update Materials: Typeset, edit, and update Kumon's worksheets and related materials across subjects including Math, Reading, and Spanish Reading.
Design and Layout: Create layouts for internal publications such as VOICES magazine and the annual yearbook, and design logos and graphics for Kumon events.

Stages product work flow so it is ready for processing after pre-shift briefing to techs.
Provide leadership, direction, and supports Packaging Tech(s) assigned to their operating line for all operating activities including production runs, startups, changeovers and shutdowns.
Direct assembly or disassembly, and cleaning as required for shift start and end operations.

DAY-TO-DAY
As a Machine Operator Apprentice, you interpret complex drawings and use those as a basis for your mechanical fabrication, assembly, adjustment, and troubleshooting work. As an eager learner, you look to our senior machinists to teach you. Diligently, you attend to damaged or deteriorating mechanical parts. You execute preventative maintenance programs to proactively check equipment before it becomes run down. Being proactive, you always keep up with our stock and make sure that new parts are ordered in a timely manner.
