How You Will Make an Impact:
You will produce Bioprocess Containers in a cleanroom environment. You will safely carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID) and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembling, material handling, equipment operating, and packaging goods.
A Day in the Life:
Work in a production environment, manufacturing and operating machinery, assembling tubing and connectors, packaging and inspecting products according to blueprints and drawings.
Use various tools and equipment, including computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, Bioprocess Container machinery, and pallet jacks.
Follow safety and cGMP requirements.
Pay strong attention to detail, collaborating with upstream and downstream stations to ensure product quality.
Maintain accurate documentation in Production Control Documents (PCD).
Participate in improvement activities, including 5S.
Work effectively as part of a team, assisting with training and mentoring.
Focus on personal development through timely completion of training.

Education:

The cleanroom is controlled at greater than 30% humidity with a temperature between 60º and 70º.
The cleanroom has some ambient noise.
Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), common chemicals are disinfecting, solvents and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%).

Job Summary
The Extrusion Operator 1 (EO1) reports directly to the Night shift manager and is responsible for performing routine set up, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment via manual or semi-automated means.
The EO1 controls and adjusts machine setting, inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and removes defective product, packaging, and component material.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Participates in equipment changeovers or set-ups.
Monitors assigned processes to ensure high quality production.

All mechanical maintenance is the EO1 responsibility on the defective extruder.
Maintains accurate records and documents as required.

Operate machinery to manufacturer's specifications, meeting time budgets for finished product.
Control and adjust machine settings as required.
Perform Quality Control. Visually inspect product for defects prior to conveyance. Report defects to Supervisor.
Follow reporting and record-keeping procedures, and report issues to Supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness of workstation and machine(s) utilized.
Experience:
Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
Skilled in working with computer-operated and mechanical equipment.
Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
Proficient in the use of hand tools.
Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals and to improve operations.

Install, maintain, and operate machinery according to instruction given by the Production Supervisor and/or Management. Assures consistent quality of production by operating machinery within parameters set by specifications for individual products. Includes following instructions; monitoring machine parameters; utilizing tools and machinery; filling documentation; interacting with staff.
Requirements:
Essential Job Duties and responsibilities:
Set up and operateproduction machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Verify line settings (operations/packaging) of equipment per established specifications.
Maintains machinery to achieve optimum performance using tools available.
May make needed repairs to machinery with instruction from Production Supervisor or Management.
Interacts with quality control and other staff to ensure proper documentation is being filled out and quality control weights and measures are being documented.
Verify weights/measures of finished product during manufacturing per established specifications.
Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Log data from testing performed, including weights and burst tank test.
Communicate to Supervisor/Management in a professional manner.
Follow and improve area processes as needed.
Housekeeping and sanitation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to follow direction and fill forms for providing in-process quality control measures.
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
Reading and comprehension abilities.
Must be able to pass food safety training.
As needed, must be able to work all shifts, weekends.

Minimum Qualification Standards:

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Operate Robotics machines within the Robotics Team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely set up, adjust and operate robotics machines such as Palletizers, Fallas machines, Pearson, Schubert, Tumbler. May rotate positions, give breaks, and operate as schedule requires. Maintain area in good housekeeping order, complete required paperwork, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Participate as team member to accomplish training and cover schedules. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Support and participate in preventive maintenance program. Comply with food safety procedures and follow plant GMPs. Swing Shift.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or to have food service and food handling experience
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.65 plus $0.75 shift differential.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
