JOB TITLE: AM Cracker Proc. L 5 Mixer BUSINESS UNIT: Campbell Snacks

FUNCTION: Supply Chain

REPORTS TO: Kenny Inglet

NUMBER AND TITLES OF DIRECT REPORTS: None

GRADE/LEVEL (If role is already leveled): Hourly

GENERAL SUMMARY (Generally 4-6 sentences demonstrating key outcomes of role):

Operate Processing machines within the Processing Team will be home machine of L 5 Mixer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key focus areas / accountabilities including how those accountabilities are managed with percentage of time allocation for each result)

Safely set up, adjust and operate processing machines such as mixer, laminator, oven, and scaler. Will rotate positions, give breaks, and operate as schedule requires; may be scheduled to cover Utility driver. Maintain area in good housekeeping order, complete required paperwork, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision. Participate as team member to accomplish training and cover schedules. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Support and participate in preventive maintenance program. Heavy lifting will be required. Comply with food safety procedures and follow plant GMPs.

COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED): preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or to have food service and food handling experience

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Tends mixing tank that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula.Weighs and mixes ingredients in mixing tank.Hands stirs mix with 3' long spatula.Records information regarding ingredients and timing.Communicates with team on batter quality and consistency.Must understand and follow safety/Food safety (SQF)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards at all times.Trained and validated to clean and sanitize equipment and surroundings specific to their focus area (For example, cooks - cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, walls, etc.) Trained and knowledgeable of the principles of sanitation, proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques, and PPE requirements Trained and knowledgeable of ladder safety Trained and knowledgeable in water and drain management Must have basic knowledge of plant specific cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, chemical solution strengths, and chemical handling Must be able to work overtime to meet production deadlines.Responsible to report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.Other production specific duties as needed.
