+ Adjusting fixtures to setup new jobs in CNC Machines

This position will be on 3rd shift
. Candidate will operate precision machining equipment on manufacturing processes. Must be able to do precision alignments, to tight tolerances. Must be able to follow work instructions, inspect own work, and work as a team. Work in a cleanroom environment. Be able to provide information back to engineering when asked. Assist in reviewing work instructions and implementing any changes by using request forms.
A Production Specialist within the Focal Plane Processing Department must demonstrate a safety first work routine, have a basic understanding of the technical aspects associated with his/her assigned process and the ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues. The individual needs to be able to coordinate work flow with co-workers and effectively communicate with engineering and management. Participation in cross training activities is required. Routine work is performed with minimal supervision.
*Training hours for this position will be standard day shift for training period (~3 months), and then hours will be 3rd shift (10PM-6:30AM).
Required Skills
:
- Minimum 6 years of total, professional experience with a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Understand and follow work instructions.
- Ability to work safely with solvents.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic analytical skills, thorough in collecting data and writing things down
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
