WELDING OPERATORS Robotic Welding Machine Operation: Operate robotic welding systems to perform welding tasks, such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), spot welding, or laser welding, on automotive parts and components. Monitor robotic welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and correct defects, such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion, in welded parts. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve any welding-related quality issues. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as welding helmets, gloves, and flame-resistant clothing. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Line Leader or Supervisor. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding systems, such as cleaning, replacing consumables (e.g., welding wire, nozzles), and checking for wear and tears. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with robotic welding equipment. Report major equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team or Supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: No experience necessary Ability to follow established procedures Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability Knowledge of IATF16949 quality standards and ISO14001 Manual dexterity sufficient to assemble, pack, and/or grip and operate hand tools Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees Computer literacy skills include the ability to perform basic data entry and to operate visual ‘touch screen' display panels Math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks are required Ability to work effectively with people SAFETY: Safety glasses are required - additional equipment required as needed WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment.
