The Portfolio Operations leader drives solution and product performance within Indoor Retail through advanced P&L management, prioritization and execution of new product implementation into our factories, recommending and implementing FPP (80/20) behavior, and serves as a liaison between the General Management team and our various internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, etc.).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make daily pre-trip inspections of assigned truck and other assigned equipment

Discuss current job with crew and confirm that all employees have proper PPE needed for the scheduled work.
Always carry extra PPE in vehicle to assign, as needed, to laborers.
Correctly load and secure all loads
Drive assigned vehicle / equipment to and from job site
Make minor repairs to maintain equipment, as needed
Responsible for overall maintenance of assigned equipment
Manually load or unload equipment, materials or supplies or oversee employee performing this task.
Assist with layout of roadway markings
Perform and direct a roadway crew for preparation, including grinding, sealing, tape removal, or other operations as necessary and directed
Responsible for ensuring the work zone traffic control is safe and assigning properly certified flaggers as needed.
Oversee the cleaning and organizing of warehouse, shop, yard, office, and vehicles to maintain a clean, safe work environment
Must follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols.

Laundry Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, including the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen linens, uniforms, towels, and other laundry-related items.
Ensure that all linens are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked for kitchen and service needs.
Maintain an organized laundry area and ensure it meets health and safety guidelines.
Ensuring bedrooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner.
Staff Supervision and Scheduling:
Supervise laundry staff and manage their work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage.
Train laundry staff in proper procedures for washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
Ensure staff follow laundry room protocols, including the use of detergents, temperature settings, and equipment handling.
Equipment & Supplies Management:
Maintain and monitor laundry equipment (washers, dryers, etc.) to ensure it operates efficiently.
Track inventory of laundry supplies (detergents, fabric softeners, etc.) and place orders when necessary.
Ensure equipment is regularly cleaned and maintained to extend its lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
Quality Control in Laundry:
Ensure linens and uniforms are cleaned to the highest standard, free of stains and damage.
Inspect the quality of finished laundry to ensure it meets standards for appearance, cleanliness, and functionality.
General Duties:
Communication & Coordination:
Foster open communication between kitchen staff, laundry staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the VP of Residential Programs to address any issues related to kitchen and laundry departments.
Resolve any concerns or complaints related to laundry or kitchen operations promptly and professionally.
Administrative & Record Keeping:
Keep track of timekeeping and attendance for both kitchen and laundry staff.
Assist in creating schedules and managing staffing levels to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain records for inventory, laundry usage, and cleaning logs.
Assist in Food Preparation and Service:
Support the kitchen team during peak hours by assisting with food prep, cooking, and plating as needed.
Step in to cover shifts or provide additional support during busy service periods.
Compliance/HIPAA:
While performing the duties of this job, employee will comply with all federal, state and local laws pertaining to Easterseals Arkansas.

Prepare SOS (Start of Shift) & EOS (End of Shift) reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; report shift performance metrics and escalate issues to the Assistant Operations Manager
Oversee retail operations, including, sales, inventory, cash mgmt, EOS draw reconciliation
Assist with other various ad-hoc duties and projects as needed
Scan, handle and move lottery products efficiently and safely through the fulfillment process (may include some repetitive motion)
YOU IDEALLY HAVE:
1-3 years of supervisory/lead experience
Prior experience in retail, warehouse, or restaurant operations
Medium-level technological know-how with the ability to troubleshoot and solve basic technical issues with equipment, operate basic systems and platforms, etc.
