Position Overview Develop quality standards and specifications, implement quality procedures and analyze quality challenges. Analyzes quality problems and develops procedures to correct them. Keeps statistical records on quality issues and generates graphs and charts to analyze trends in customer returns. Analyzes and initiates action on customer complaints and Corrective Action Requests. Uses computer software to analyze process capabilities and process control and evaluates results. Performs First Article inspections on new or revised products. Will also work with and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Quality Technicians. Who you are Bachelor's Degree preferably in engineering related field Industrial manufacturing experience preferably in metals industry 5 Years of Quality Supervisory or managerial experience Experience in metal finishing or painting operation preferred Must have good communication skills. Position requires detail-oriented person with ability to handle several different projects at once. Experience or training in Quality Management Systems is required (preferably ISO 9001:2015) Basic understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control), process capability studies, and trend analysis. Experience in close color control/differences is essential. Must score well on Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Color Hue Test. Must have attended or be willing to attend the MacBeth “Fundamentals of Color and Appearance” Seminar or an equivalent seminar.
