Administers the sterilization process and oversees the coordination, maintenance, and storage of medical instruments, supplies, and equipment to support adequate inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and oversees daily operations for SPD and materials processing, managing workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet schedules and clinical needs.
Develops and updates policies and procedures for processing, storage, and handling of medical/surgical supplies; implements new decontamination and sterilization methods.
Selects, trains, supervises staff, conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and manages personnel actions; develops staff education programs.
Ensures compliance with hospital, departmental, and external regulations, including safety and infection control standards.
Maintains inventory of instruments, equipment, and materials in the assigned area.
Keeps current with industry trends and best practices through professional development and participation in committees and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:

Licensure/Certifications:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required
Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) should be obtained within 1 year of hire OR SIPS Healthcare Foundational Leader (SIPS-HFL) should be obtained within 1 year of hire required

Position Overview
As a Senior Production Technician on the Plant Operations team, you will be a hands-on leader responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of hydropower plant equipment and systems. In addition to technical expertise, you'll play a key mentoring role-guiding junior technicians and setting high standards in safety, reliability, and performance.
Your leadership and technical acumen will be instrumental in advancing our clean energy mission and ensuring the operational excellence of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of hydropower generation stations.
Perform and oversee complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on turbines and associated systems.
Supervise gate changes and ensure accurate, timely documentation.
Monitor and report critical conditions and instrument readings during periods of significant runoff to support real-time decision-making.
Plan and execute station and dam operations with strict adherence to safety protocols.
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues; provide technical recommendations.
Lead the implementation of a comprehensive equipment quality assessment and issue reporting program.
Act as a contractor liaison as needed, reporting to supervisors or project managers.
Ensure team compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) protocols.
Operate in compliance with FERC regulations and support site readiness.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior Production Technicians.
Set and model high standards in adaptability, professionalism, and response to emergencies or shifting priorities.
Support operational continuity by being available for on-call duties, overtime, and emergency call-ins.
Maintain flexibility to work at multiple stations, promoting collaboration and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in hydropower operations with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Background in technical training, the military, or a relevant industry strongly preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex schematics (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical).
Hands-on experience in rigging, lifting, welding, and electrical repair is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally, including occasional overnight stays.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
Experience with hydro turbine/generator systems, industrial electrical systems, and PLCs is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a significant advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Operates venue lighting and sound equipment. Assists with load-in, load-out and set up of equipment for college shows, events, and outside productions. Also assists with spotlight operations, stage and equipment maintenance, electrical power distribution, specialized equipment, staging, stage sets and all related production needs.
* Maintains, repairs, and installs concert sound and lighting equipment in the College's performance venues whenever necessary.
* Reports equipment malfunctions or concerns to the Associate Director of Production. Makes recommendations for improvements to venues, equipment, etc.
* Meet with Associate Director of Production to review all technical and production requirements for college shows and events (on and off campus).
* Maintain appropriate event, production and maintenance records and distribute to appropriate individuals.
* Other duties within the scope of the job description as assigned.
Possible Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist in supervision and/or training of work-study stage crew employees.
Required Skills:
* Strong technical skills to provide a working knowledge of the safety standards, upgrading, and maintenance of theater equipment, including operation of lighting systems, electrical systems and sound equipment.
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime hour
Required Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in technical and production operations in a live music venue.
* Related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
