mac OS Developer Mode: Hybrid Duration: Contract
We're looking for a creative and resourceful mac OS developer with 3-5 years of experience to support the lead engineer on a large internal tools project. This person will assist in implementing new features, testing existing code, and fixing bugs.
The project involves building internal extensions to a suite of established, consumer-facing mac OS applications. These extensions are designed to streamline the content creation workflows of our creative design and production teams.
The applications being extended have a mature and complex codebase, written predominantly in Objective-C (~90%). All new development is being done in Swift, with SwiftUI used for the user interface layer.
Success in this role will require deep knowledge of mac OS development and strong experience working across both Objective-C and Swift, including handling interoperability between the two. You should be comfortable navigating a large legacy codebase while contributing modern Swift code that integrates cleanly and safely.
A significant portion of this role will focus on testing new and existing features, as well as performing quick-turnaround bug fixes as the need arises.
Requirements
Extensive mac OS development experience with SwiftUI and AppKit
Deep knowledge of Swift and Objective-C interoperability, with hands-on experience working across both languages

Food safety or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.
To make independent adjustments and corrections to the mogul or accessory equipment, insuring efficient operation of that particular piece of equipment.
Directs the candy makers and/or production workers assigned to that particular piece of equipment being utilized, to ensure efficient operation in completing the assigned tasks.
Inspects all production to ensure compliance with specifications for that particular product.
Checks board and stroke weights every hour.
Completes all paper work which is required, including start-up checklists, tracking sheets, and other required paperwork.
Performs changeovers on the mogul and its accessories as directed by the supervisor or production planner. The use and understanding of written production schedules and instruction manuals, in English.
May be assigned to calculate, compile, and report production volumes as directed by the mogul supervisor.
Performs all duties assigned within the mogul section, including the loading and unloading of trucks into the mogul or dryroom, the loading of starch into the mogul, the manipulation of pump bars, and the catching and loading of candy trays. Duties may run concurrent when production runs are 4 hours or less, except when running candy corn and Dutch mints.
Performs the safe operation of a manual or powered pallet jack, also may be required to operate power lift equipment including specialized (narrow-aisle) equipment.
Responsible for sanitation throughout and at the end of the shift.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain a working knowledge of the sequential Control Logic that oversees the operation of the line
Understand the different classifications of cores used, such as core thickness, core diameter etc.
Know all the specifications used to define the product rolls such as length, weight, diameter.
Utilize the Avanti software to log in specific details and product specifications.
Actively watch the material running to identify any defects; must be able to identify the various types of defects.

Operate an overhead crane and vertical wrapper.
Change shaft extractors for respective core diameters used.
Correctly set knives; must know how to adjust and replace knives as needed.
Carry out functions of the wrapper i.e. set Film Tension, replace Shrink Wrap into Carrier, thread wrapper.
Read and interpret information on labels; apply labels onto rolls.
Identify the different colors of labels and understand the significance of each type.
Utilize appropriate cardboard side covers for final product (rolls).
Distinguish between an FDA Product and non-FDA product and follow proper FDA rules and protocols when applicable.
Collect standard samples and for QA testing.
Add re-feed to the machines as needed.
Perform manual/automatic operations of the Rewinder.
Read, fill and understand Operator Panel.
Know parts and locations of Celli operating devises, such as alarms and lock system.
Initiate E-Stops under necessary usage conditions.
Work across multiple lines, as needed.
Perform routine maintenance procedures.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and utilize proper PPE.
Keep work station clean and organized.

Food safety or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.
To make independent adjustments and corrections to the mogul or accessory equipment, insuring efficient operation of that particular piece of equipment.
Directs the candy makers and/or production workers assigned to that particular piece of equipment being utilized, to ensure efficient operation in completing the assigned tasks.
Inspects all production to ensure compliance with specifications for that particular product.
Checks board and stroke weights every hour.
Completes all paper work which is required, including start-up checklists, tracking sheets, and other required paperwork.
Performs changeovers on the mogul and it's accessories as directed by the supervisor or production planner. The use and understanding of written production schedules and instruction manuals, in English.
May be assigned to calculate, compile, and report production volumes as directed by the mogul supervisor.
Performs all duties assigned within the mogul section, including the loading and unloading of trucks into the mogul or dryroom, the loading of starch into the mogul, the manipulation of pump bars, and the catching and loading of candy trays. Duties may run concurrent when production runs are 4 hours or less, except when running candy corn and Dutch mints.

PROCESS KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of process theory and equipment operation. Ability to learn biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes including mammalian cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, centrifugation, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance. Support initiatives for process optimization. Identify and elevate processing issues and support solutions. Gain experience with automation systems (LIMS, MES, PI, etc.).
TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION: Provide feedback and/or suggested changes to operational procedures. Assist in the incorporation of new technologies, practices, and standards into procedures. Capable of writing and reviewing process documents.
QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE: Understanding of cGMPs as related to Commercial Operations. Ability to utilize Quality systems (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, Action/Alert Reports, etc.).

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
