Cleaning forms after product is removed using a scraper, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc. Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or stressing rebar strand, tying mesh, and installing imbeds (including plates, vectors and core walls) and setting side rails. Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling concrete. Finishing concrete using various tools/methods such as smooth float, steel trowel, brooming, raking and power trowels to achieve a desired finish. Sandblasting Duties Locating products stored in the Yard that have been approved for sandblasting. Sandblasting concrete surfaces according to the specifications of approved designs. Follows instructions, guidelines and procedures timely and accurately. Looks for ways to improve processes, reduce errors and increase efficiencies. Performing plant cleanup/housekeeping including putting away tools, sweeping debris and cleaning cluttered areas. Adhering to safety standards. Responsible for a part of the process of tearing down or reassembling a received part from a transmission or torque converter and ensuring that proper labeling, packaging, tagging, and gauging is done on all product and that product is defect free before final shipment. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
