$1.50 shift differential for hours worked on 2nd Shift in addition to base rate.
Primary Job Function: Responsible for assigned manufacturing tasks, which include using equipment or tools to weld and assemble parts according to customer specifications. Responsible for safety, quality of work, production, and material flow.
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow all standard work procedures.
Meet production requirements and complete all production sheets.
Stop, call, & wait for all abnormal conditions.
Follow all safety procedures and communicate issues with the Team Lead/Group Lead.
Perform required quality checks.
Participate in a manufacturing system emphasizing teamwork, safety training, and discipline.
Utilize TPS techniques to standardize processes/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste, and standardize the new process/methods.
Maintain daily 5S in the work area and equipment.
Work well with other teammembers.
Understand and work by the TB Way philosophy.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Can sit, stand, and walk for continuous periods of time
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment/Conditions:
Plant:
Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, etc., may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas. Personal attire standards may apply.
Temperature-controlled environment
TeamMembers are exposed to sharp metal objects that are heated during welding process. As such, TeamMembers are required to wear heat protective gloves and sleeves that are made from an XKS nylon material. The PPE is designed to cover all of arms and hands and can become hot during summer months.
Physical Demands:
Capable of standing 100% of the time and must be able to bend, walk, & lift up to 30 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the teammember is frequently required to grip tools and objects, stretch and/or reach with hands and arms; using hands to finger, handle, feel, twist, walk, twisting (standing), bend at the waist, do repetitive motions, talk and hear. The teammember must occasionally kneel, work from heights, and crouch. The teammember must frequently lift and/or move five to fifteen pounds. The teammember must regularly lift twenty to thirty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over thirty pounds with the assistance of a mechanical device or another teammember. While performing the duties of this job, the teammember is required to talk, see, and hear.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Food Safety Sanitor performs sanitation labor by performing the eight steps of sanitation while understanding and complying with all food safety and safety policies and procedures. Job duties include:
• Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers, etc.
• Wear employer-specified personal protective equipment ("PPE") such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.
• Exposure to chemicals (with PPE required for the task).
• All night standing, lifting, and crouching for periods at a time.
• Perform all tasks safely.
• Use Lock-out tag-out ("LOTO").
• Other duties as assigned.

Production Operators perform assembly operations requiring frequent handling of heavy parts and will be trained to operate and/or adjust production equipment. The job will require the employee to switch between various production job assignments, and all job assignments are subject to rotation. Essential Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the Production Operator can include but not be limited to the following:
* Operate on the line interacting and cooperating with other teammembers to complete job tasks on different models of the same product moving along the line.
* Perform repetitive line assembly operations to assemble product quickly to approved specifications.
* Apply and follow all standardized work and operating instructions.
* Utilize wide range of powered-hand tools to assembly check, adjust or repair appliances.
* Various general assembly activities required including: driving screws and/or assembling other fasteners; applying tape, insulation or other materials; assembling/fastening wire harnesses, terminating wires; checking, adjusting, or repairing sub or final assemblies; testing and/or packaging of sub or final assemblies.
* Inspect work to verify quality and conformance to required specifications.
* Complete production and performance by following all policies and practices to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost including, but not limited to: required personal protective equipment, identifying/reporting unsafe working conditions; attention to detail - identifying and reporting quality issues found through in-line checking and reporting of critical appearance defects for resolution.
* Complete daily 5S requirements.
* Must be able to perform the above essential job functions job with or without an accommodation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Must be dependable and have good attendance record including timely arrival for work

* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
* Constant standing with frequent walking and occasional sitting.

* Constant grasping, squeezing, pinching and fine motor dexterity with both hands.
* Constant reaching overhead, at shoulder level, below the waist, and at floor level.
