ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working under the direction of a group leader. Responsible for continually maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Following written and verbal instructions. Preparing and positioning parts for assembly, ensuring each component is fastened together correctly, and checking connections logging any discrepancies. Assembling material components using both hand tools and power tools. Performing required manufacturing processes while meeting all quality and production standards. Moving and positioning equipment weighing up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis to complete assembly work. Performing other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES High School diploma/GED required. Minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing tools to assemble parts and components to create final product. Ability to read and interpret small print on gauges, blueprints, or product labels. Demonstrated dependable performance with consistent schedule adherence. Demonstrated willingness to learn additional processes and procedures while executing more complex tasks with precision. Ability to learn all positions within each assembly line and willingness to assist in all areas to ensure production targets are met. Ability to accurately read and utilize tape measures, fabrication blueprints, and assembly documentation. Prior experience working in industrial manufacturing is preferred. Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Ability to work up to 6 days/week with Saturdays being on an as-needed basis.
