Overview
We are looking to hire entry-level Machine Operators with no prior experience.
These positions involve running machines that make cutting tools for the label and envelope industry.
The work is very hands-on and requires basic computer and math skills.
Position Type + Hours
This is a permanent full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays
1st Shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm
2nd Shift - 2:00pm to 10:00pm
3rd Shift - 10:00pm to 6:00am
Requirements
Basic mathematics and computer knowledge are required.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write English at a level to effectively use/interpret instructions.
Detail-oriented, time management, communication, and multitasking skills required.
Able to work independently, as well as with others in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
Mostly standing and walking.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel or crouch.

Aseptic Production Operator IIAs an Aseptic Production Operator II, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aseptic manufacturing processes and equipment. You will focus mostly on the Aseptic Block Equipment (Blowmolder, Filler, and its peripherals devices). You will play a crucial role in maintaining sterile conditions and producing high-quality beverage products. As a senior production team member, you will also provide junior operators guidance, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Execute aseptic manufacturing processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This includes preparation, setup, operation, and monitoring of aseptic blowing/ filling, cleaning, and sterilizing the aseptic block equipment. Knowledge about Chemicals used in the Aseptic Block Equipment and their critical interactions (GHS & SDS).
Overall knowledge about Aseptic Production, such as basic concepts about Microbiology and pH, Low Acid and High Acid Products, and causes of sterility loss.
Monitor all the Aseptic Block equipment Critical Control Points (CCP), using a Human Machine Interface (HMI), to ensure the final product sterility is maintained. Identify and address potential contamination risks and work with your Supervisor and Quality/ Maintenance Teams to mitigate/ eliminate them.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Aseptic Block Equipment, such as filling and blow molding machines, sterilizers, and filtration systems. Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls. Be alert to the alarms and act quickly to adjust equipment to prevent unnecessary downtime.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, which involves cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating (CIL) the Aseptic Block Equipment. These routine activities will be performed under Maintenance Technician supervision to maintain good equipment performance.
Follow Quality Control Niagara's procedures for in-process checks, sampling, and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance. Perform visual inspections, measurements, and other quality control tests to identify deviations or defects and take appropriate corrective actions. Responsible for testing Torque, Top load, Bottle Section weights, and Cleaning/ Sterilization Chemicals concentrations (ability to perform Titrations)
Responsible for accurately documenting all production activities, including Production Logs, Machine Reports, Quality Reports, and Downtime Reports, using software such as Presage and Infinity. Adhere to cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance with Niagara's Quality Systems and external regulatory bodies.
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols such as Lock out Tag out (LOTO), wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), Housekeeping and participating in safety training programs. Report any safety incidents, near misses, or hazards to your Supervisor.
Comply with Niagara's Costs Control, Yield, and Employee Safety Policies.
Comply with Niagara's guidelines for proper equipment handling and operation.
Comply with Niagara's Food Safety Plan and Quality Policies for the aseptic beverage production
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required

As a Product Assembler at Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS, you perform assembly based on pre-determined work orders. You are responsible for assembling various types and sizes of cutting and sawing equipment, including concrete, tile, masonry, metal and hole saws or other equipment fabricated and assembled in Production. Includes assembly of individual parts and components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly
* Receive pre-determined work order and parts from Lead Person or Supervisor.
* Check to ensure that parts received are correct and in good condition and report bad or questionable parts to appropriate Supervisor.
* Pre-assemble individual parts for assigned saws or trowels as needed, including wiring such items as engines, motors and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads and other assemblies.
* Use hand tools, and pneumatic tools to assemble components into completed saws. Includes processes such (but not limited to) as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing. Ability to read blueprints and follow documented and written instructions.
* Finish and touch-up completed saws and apply serial number decals. May include painting.
Quality
* Perform test run on completed saws to be sure they're in proper running condition.
* By use of a checklist, complete inspection paperwork and notify appropriate Supervisor of need for final inspection.
* Crate or box completed saws for shipment, insert appropriate literature and tools, and prepare for pick-up.
* Clean up and maintain tools and work area on a daily basis. Report need for tool repair to Supervisor.
* Maintain high-quality standards on all assembled parts by making sure parts fit and go together properly, machine is in good working condition, and paint finished and touched up, if needed.
* Expected to make suggestions for changing/improving procedures and specifications.
* Observe sound safety procedures at all times and to notify supervisor of safety or ergonomic issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* At least 1-2 years' Mechanical Assembly experience
* Some automotive, engine build/repair or shop experience helpful

The production technician supports many functions for the audio visual team. They support the following events: Mission Command Training, (Joint, CORP, Division, and Brigade) War Fighters (Joint Operations, CORP, Division, and Brigade) they also coordinate with the Command Information Center for Video Teleconferences set up Senior Mentor Conferences workshops. These are either supported at the exercise unit (worldwide) location or here at Ft. Leavenworth. Also the production technician takes many still photos and videos of the above events. Any and all of these products are used by the army in their training of the units.
The production technician places these products into a take home training packet that can be used by the exercised unit and the Operation Group back in Ft. Leavenworth.
They also have to edit, cut and provide a DVD or CD of the above products to the Army so that they can review and use them in an informed manner when training an exercised unit. At Ft. Leavenworth the production technician is tasked to help set up the team conference rooms for classes and briefings. The production technician also sets up LCD projectors and computers throughout the team building to support training on the teams.
